RIP Aaliyah 1/16/79 – 8/25/01, doesn’t feel like its been nine years at all. I definitely throw on some Aaliyah from time to time, she had some hits. What was your favorite Aaliyah song?

R.I.P. TO AALIYAH.
IM GONA HAVE TO SAY ONE IN A MILLION, I CAN’T REALLY CALL IT THO, SHE GOT SO MANY, ARE YOU THAT SOMEBODY WAS & STILL IS THE BUSINESS, ROCK THE BOAT.
SHE WAS A SPECIAL ARTIST, & WHERE ALOT OF FEMALE ARTIST FALL SHORT IS, AALIYAH ALWAYS KEPT IT SEXY, BUT CLASSY IN HER VIDEOS.
R.I.P. Aaliyah. I guess God really do want to keep his angels close. My favorite song is between Come Over and I Don’t Wanna Be (even tho wayne fucked it up by stealing the whole verse)es
Damn…touching to realize how much time has passed and how much we’ve evolved since her passing. I remember as a kid listening to her music on the radio and tape recording live broadcasts when her song would play hoping the host wouldn’t jump in and talk over the song. LOL those we’re fun days.
R.I.P.Aaliyah Long Live, Angel.
My god. I can’t believe it has been 9 yrs. Aaliyah was a heavyweight in this music game. I she was still here now, She would take over where Mary J is. She would have no real comp out there. Not even B, so don’t even bring her up. She has hits for hits for hits. We miss you here Aaliyah.
Aaliyah’s passing was such a tragic event for the R&B music scene as a whole. I’ve been reading a lot of great articles about her today, and this one ([bit.ly]) was by far the most informative and touching.
I truly miss Aaliyah and can only imagine how successful she would have been today. Rest in peace and God bless her family, friends and fans.
R.I.P. Aaliyah
I was fairly young when she was out, and I wasn’t into R&B back then. I’ll probably cop some of her material later on though. R.I.P.
We Need A Resolution is my JAM…RIP
