I feel like there should be more to the question. Lebron is 7 yrs in the game Kobe @ like 13. Lebron has achieved more (outside if rings) then Kobe did at 25. But b/c we value players rings so much, he moved on. The Cavs shoulda tried to build a better team around LBJ. They didn’t so he left. He gave 7 yrs. Kobe got a ring 4 but he also had a squad. Jordan in 7 but he had Pippen & Grant… I’m sure MJ had reasons I’d just love to hear them. Lebron could have been the best but Kobe’s heart and will to compete make him better. Lebron lost that. A true competitor always puts tries their hardest. Lebron in the Celtics series…he gave up after a while. Kobe in Game 7…never gave up even though they were down the majority of the game. By the end he had nothing left…nothing left but the trophy.

i actually hate the best player debates because everyone has there favorites. the only reason that people feel michael jordan was the greatest ever is because he was the best player of his era. it got to the point where there was no one to compare him too. kinda like tiger woods (up until right now). as long as there are debates over who is better in any single era, he’ll never go down as the greatest ever. i don’t care how many rings he gets. look at Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s impressive career (6 rings as well and 19 All-Star Games) and Bill Russell (11 rings and has the Finals MVP award named after him) but who do we talk about? He has no post game, no mid range jumper, sloppy footwork, and still has no clue how to use screens. His entire game revolves around powering his way to the basket using his freakish athleticism? (although his 3-point shot has improved these last two years). i didn’t mean to post that much but 3 hours ago Lebron has too many kinks he has to work out of his game before you can even compare him to Kobe. Talk about SLOPPY footwork (he always travels) but people don’t pay attention to details like that because they don’t know basketball they just look at stats and how many times you dunk in a game. Its an art to this game and? Lebron needs to work on his craft. And his on ball defense is weak. (help side hes solid and he is not clutch)

this is y Jordan? is right and I will break it down for non ballers or ppl who don’t know the game Lebron has major flaws in his game. He has no post game, no mid range jumper, sloppy footwork, and still has no clue how to use screens. His entire game revolves around powering his way to the basket using his freakish athleticism? (although his 3-point shot has improved these last two years). Kobe is the more complete & polished player and hence superior also by the time Kobe was 25 and going in to his 8th yr he had a decent post game had a good mid range game and had great? footwork when is LBJ gonna work on that

Lebron has too many kinks he has to work out of his game before you can even compare him to Kobe. Talk about SLOPPY footwork (he always travels) but people don’t pay attention to details like that because they don’t know basketball they just look at stats and how many times you dunk in a game. Its an art to this game and? Lebron needs to work on his craft. And his on ball defense is weak. (help side hes solid and he is not clutch)
Kobe is #1 now, enough said….
