Mark McGwire finally came clean Monday, admitting he used steroids when he broke baseball’s home run record in 1998. McGwire says in a statement sent to The Associated Press on Monday that he used steroids on and off for nearly a decade and he apologizes for his actions. He says: “I wish I had never touched steroids. It was foolish and it was a mistake. I truly apologize. Looking back, I wish I had never played during the steroid era.”

his records will get the same treatment as Bonds’ records…absolutely nothing…but both prob will never be in the hall of fame which is fine by me. true baseball fans do not recognize those stats as records anyway
damn a shame they cheated to get those historic records. i think everyone in baseball fucking uses steroids. this is gonna rock baseball for sure.

He admitted to using steroids because he didn’t want to be a distraction to the St. Louis Cardinials. He is their new hitting coach. He layed low for a few years to let it die down but he is now broke as shit and needs a job.
This is what Major League Baseball trying to teach the youth:
If you want to make a quarter billion dollars like Alex Rodriguez or break Home Run Records like Mark McGwire, you MUST use steroids. There’s no other way. You might even perform better in the World Series like A-Rod did. If you get caught, just apologize and the world will forgive you like nothing happened. At least you have all that money, a big house, and a World Series ring and no one can do anything about it
