Will this be a revolutionary device? Seems like a big screen iTouch, definitely going after the netbook market.
According to Engadget the 3g pricing plan will be 250MB for $14.99 and an unlimited plan for $29.99 a month contract-free with AT&T.

Itts ehhhh i prefer having an mac notebook but guys plz dont buy this device right now!Remember what happened to ipod same thing will happen to iPad it will have glitches its going to work slow etc wait a year ot so till they upgrade it to better version dont get caught up in the same shit that you got caught up with iPhone everyone was on it when it came out but months late they droped what 8gb? and later on price droped and later later on newer version of iPhone dropped and all the costumers who bought first one were mad.
ummm, tablets have been around since the 80′s or 90′s whats so revolutionary about this? If you think this is revolutionary then your either not very big on electronics or a apple fan boy choose one.

Microsoft Surface is definitely a much better tech, but to be honest i don’t like how iPad looks, it looks like huge iPod C’Mon Son? Im guessing Apple ran out of designers or good ideas. Over sized iPod come on lol wtf
The iPad just looks like a giant iPhone. The Microsoft Surface looks a hell of a lot more revolutionary. Like Windows 7 it introduces the concept of wireless linking between devices. What would be really ill is if a company introduced something like Wi-Fi that you can’t actually see, but it links all of your devices and keeps them charged while they’re in range. But I think I like the surface better than the iPad.
I don’t really see myself having an actual use for either of them though…we’ll see.

Meaning its in the middle stages of creation and isn’t consumer friendly yet because of the price. But like with all new technology it will come down with time and be ready for mass production.
Just like the PC computer back in the 80′s no one thought it would be necessary to have one in your home and it was too expensive. But now about 9 out of 10 people have at least 2 computers in their home. Just give it some time and that touch screen table will make its way into every ones home. And once again the TABLET has been out since forever every computer electronic company has a Tablet already.

This tablet is cheaper because it is a cheap device, nothing but a bigger iphone or itouch, no usb, no camera, no flash, and paying at&t for 3g not a good look they suck now already, patience is the key with apple and the bs they put out
And this thing doesn’t have Flash and I’m wondering if you cant multitask like the iphone/touch. A netbook can do everything this does and more and has a physical keyboard Can we say “Ifail”?

Apple need to think realistically more, how you going to drop a new product with design that been taken from iPhone. C’mon apple iphone been out for a while people tired of same look and now you made it bigger version of it, like do apple brainstorm team think with their asses and not the actual brain? I think in a summer or late summer they will drop a new updated version with new features and hopefully better looking design because this im not feeling it and to be honest i dont really need it. Even if it has a different look i just dont find it to be need it right now specially college coming up for me and i need money for education.

No USB, no HDMI-out, no camera, no multi-tasking and no Flash. That means I’ll stil have to bring my laptop with me or I’ll have to buy the extra dongles for USB. And I can’t listen to music and surf at the same time!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!

even when the surface hits consumers you have to pay about 1-2000 just for the table then where you gonna put the senors in the projects lol. i mean it’s nice for home and all but i can’t bring my table to work or school or outside lol. don’t get me wrong crazy sick but i think that is more of integral decorating if you ask me. only thing that sucks about the ipad is the no usb support and maybe a built in cam. what people fail to see what this can be use for. this is mainly for students, the medical field things of that nature. i mean for students who the hell is tired of lugging 6 huge boulders with them to school. when you can have all your books in your ipad. or who wants to lug a 5-10 pound laptop when you can bring this. you have to think what you can use this for and if it’s fit for you. i see this being in schools and people using it for art, research, reading and work. in the medical field i can see doctors look at your chart and see what’s going on with you and write down your medical history something in that light. and windows 7 wireless linking that’s been out for while now so that isn’t so hot. i been a pc user for so long im tired of it cause you have to worry about hackers getting into your shit and giving you viruses . or if you work as it have to worry about the dumb ass that was looking at porn or some other shit lol. then you have to buy a antivirus software and even then that doesn’t help. and windows takes up way to much up to boot up. with a mac you don’t have alot of problems and don’t have to worry about the stupid lil issues do what you have to and to me it’s alot more organize. and easy to copy dvd’s no software needed lol.
this will have multitasking. it’s only a matter of time. wait until june/ july

I was just illustrating how expensive this useless iPad is. I own both an xbox and PS3 and have MW2 on xbox, I agree wholeheartedly which is why I’m selling my PS3.
ezee think about it like this net books are about 300-400 for the same work but guess what doesn’t have muti-touch and if you seen the presentation like i have you would be quickly amaze man. granted apple is a lil expensive but come on you have the ease of not worry about viruses or headaches. and the apps are alot cheaper than windows. iworks on the ipad is 10 bucks for each type of app. it’s not a useless app if you know how to use it. like i said it all depends who you are . it not gonna be for everyone but i will say if your a student trust me it a good netbook

The reality is, those buying this product will soon realize that they will have to get the 3G model which is an additional 130$ because relying on wifi wont be enough depending on where you take this thing smh….
The only sense that i can make of the Unimressive Launch of the Dvice is the idea that Steve is holding off the Mulitasking for the the Iphone 4G which drops in June
Then afterwards with a software update or IPad 2nd generation will have Video conferencing and Multitasking , I however dont believe that Apple products will EVER have Flash content because Flash allows the Access to View free Content and thats not what Apple likes since they want you to buy content from Itunes exclusively smh

If you look at the Specs of this Device it is a Miserable FAIL! something with so much power still lacks the capability to perform more than 1 task SMH

do you have a net book cause trust me when i say it sucks. you can compare all the netbook you see online and then compare the ipad. guess what they about the same price as the ipad with no type of mutitouch and takes up more gigs just for the operating system (unless you use linux) and is about 1ghz to almost 2ghz and still is slow as fuck. ya seriously hating on apple and yes i do agree on the no flash and mutitasking but you have to think first of it’s base on a phone os not a computer os, second it will have mutitasking it’s only a matter of time. thirdly please i suggest you look at the keynotes from apple and then decide. yes it has flaws so does 100% of pcs and macs in the world not everyone can make a perfect device but this is by far the best or one of the best netbooks i have seen. and i been a windows users mac user and linux user and i would have to say the best os’s are mac and linux and linux wins my vote cause it’s free and all the apps are free. and yes the spec kinda suck but think about how small it is and if your smart there are ways around the usb and mini display
