The song is actually pretty nice, and sounds like a professional diss record. And I do think that Jay-Z’s motives for the way he’s been acting lately are highly questionable. But like he would be wrong for trying to indoctrinate the masses into his belief system, people also can’t force the man to bend to their exact belief system. I see comments talking about how he HAS to accept Jesus etc, etc. As long as the man doesn’t have any malicious intent and is just making music everything’s cool.

Yo If people want to ride with Shawn Carter that’s fine. I been listening to Shawn’s music all my life, I call him Shawn not Jay-z because he has found a way to make his music “Himself” so to speak. He found a way to merge his true life in every aspect to his music and still was able to be successful. Shawn has claimed himself somewhat of a religious rapper for a good chunk of his career. Shawn changed his rap name from Jay-z to Hova, that was kinda a red flag, he down played it by saying I’m the “God MC” which was cool. People are very much entitled to their own belief, if that’s what they want to practice in their private life then so be it. But here comes the problem, and it’s quite simple. When you deliver your personal religious believes into the music and show people that are uneducated another side of you, and introduce people to something that they are not 100% at terms with themselves then we have a problem. Every thing would have been fine if Shawn didn’t make it so out there, it’s cool if you hide it behind the lyrics but don’t let it surface to the juncture where people and google the picture of you with the shirt on that says “Do as Tho Wilt” or people can look at the images in your video and do 20 seconds of research and find out what those images are truly connected too. This is nothing new, they do it with popcorn and candy ads at the movies to get you to buy concessions too. You’d never know it b/c the mind can’t process the images quickly enough. Stay informed people. Laziness is not an excuse for ignorance. A lot of people believe in God but believe the devil is stronger due to the tragedies and struggle we see everyday. His argument, in which i agree with, is that if we are all God’s children, and he is willing to forgive us,then why would he punish us for an eternity. Think of it this way: would you put your child in the worst place imaginable for an eternity?
Second off, to say that people would “sin unlimited” without hell is ridiculous. That would mean that all atheists and others who don’t believe in hell are horrible people who are willing to do anything they want because they dont fear hell.
