Who claims him to be the greatest rapper alive? I can’t think of anyone and who would want to see a movie about him. No one cares, Lil Wayne’s career is a joke, it’s just hyped by Birdman so he could make money. A real hip hop fan knows real rap doesn’t come from the south excluding old Outkast music. Why doesn’t Rakim or GZA two of the greatest rappers of all time not have a movie? If you like Lil Wayne give an explanation why he would be considered greatest rapper alive and don’t come with that bullshit with album sales because that doesn’t mean anything.

Ima be honest i used to be a huge lil wayne fan and i went from being a fan to jus respecting his hustle you kno… I understand that he had to hit the music scene from different angles so that explains his change in styles etc… but this movie right here is gon be like a CHERRY on top for him and ima go watch that because he is truly a legend and lil wayne will go down as one of the legends of rap whens it all done and over with you DIG!!!

I sayed it plenty of times C3 didnt have any competition around its release date thats why it sold a million the first week. If Eminem or Jay, FIF was releasing a album a week before or week after the C3 U think it would’ve sold a milli? Wayne not a great rapper but he’s got GREAT TIMING.

how bout the fact hes been in the game for 17 years, had 6 solo albums (all platnium or gold), plenty of awards and nominations including 4 grammies, and dont forget hes prolly been featured on at least 100 songs, AT LEAST. he has multiple classic mixtapes including dedication 2, which is arguably the best mixtape of all time. hes collaborated with everyone from pop artists to underground rappers and is versatile enough to get on ANY track. not just hood songs, not just pop or r&b songs, ANY kind of song. dont act like lil waynes a garbage rapper, cuz if he was he woulda been outta the picture years ago

Yes it has made Wayne a lot of money, but ask artist and they will tell you money is not the sole reason they do what they do (paint, play, or rap).
