wat he sayin bout the label and triple c’s and ross and khaled is very true, but i cant help but think the same thing wit gunit and they last album and interscope lookin at 50 the same way, it wouldnt be smart to ever speak about that but thats wat it is, and it happens wit every rapper.
the only problem wit rap is now when that happens, and the day comes when its time to impress the label so they can invest in you one more time, the rappers business plan and concept to is to generate an actual interest in his actual project is by starting a relentless verbal war with jayz, ask jimmy, ask 50, it didnt work so much wit hov, then ja rule fell in his lap, and em and dre being money makin genuises jumped on it. and ross, did wat no one else has done by not picking jayz to gain an actual interest, but he picked 50, and thats the first time that has happened and it worked for ross, not for his crew, now ross will have to either build a stronger attack for 50 in the future or pray that eminem knows his name and if em does, def jam will re-up on ross, if not, its over

dont wory fifty nobody gonna laugh after yo dumb ass when you brick, except fat joe and dem. its a good album i think its even better than fab’s album lol. great songs, high quality stuff. whether it be chick or gully.

Great interview 50 your respones r on point and always funny … and mayb interscope was lookin @ 50 like dat but i doubt it was the same as ross…my sonhas a platinum record hit list with all 5 frist gunit records going plat .. as well as all his solos and the gunit last group cd is gold in us and plat world wide so i doubt the look @ def jame is the look @ interscope ….

@ gunit, i’m not tryin to hate here in this current post, the problem if anyone says anything negative bout 50 whether its true or not, you’ll see it as hate. what i’m sayin is true, and i think that gunit the label and the group is no longer on interscope i think. its just 50 signed to shady/aftermath/interscope. but the rest are kinda in limbo until 50 leaves interscope and gets a new deal after this album. i dont think i said anythin that was hating or untrue other than using the terms actual interest in his actual project and shit like dat, but compared to normal, i aint hate this time, i hate when hate is due

its weird to hear 50 talk like. More often than not, 50 is reasonable & factual….when it comes to other people.
In this interview, hes BASICALLY saying that he doesnt expect the album to perform.
Correct me if i’m wrong:
He said that the LEAK of the album was intentional. Cool.
he then used the INTENTIONAL LEAK of the album as a reason (along with the climate of the industry) as a reason for the albums potential UNDERPERFORMANCE.
he also made it clear that GRODT is a bar too high to compare to. I dunno, y’all are hearing him say the same words right?
Wonder why he didnt have more ETHER to say about Triple C’s?
Maybe because after all that self-failure preparation it would be inappropriate to go in on them?
I’m not saying he is, i’m just listening to the same damn interview y’all are.
