@11 Nah, Nas really did make Jay not want to ever compete directly with anyone again on a rapping tip. It’s funny how everyone who thinks Jay won that battle refers to everything BUT the raps. “Oh he wins awards” “He was Nas’s boss” “He’s got millions” That has NOTHING to do with the fact that Nas made Jay-Z stop wanting beef! The other reason for him not doing anything is because he has nothing huge to gain and his adversary has everything.

Jay Z is scared to beef after Nas? Okay, first jay z and nas had a rap battle not beef, second how many times has Jay Z directly called out someone’s name in a rap. Hmmm about three time one which was 50, and then takeover he said Mobb Deep and Nas. Jay Z has never really been into the beef and nonsense! He does through a lot of subliminalsm but that way he does not promote the other artist and everyone with any insecurity will feel away about it. Aka Beans, game etc…

Jay Z with the exception of his retirement and return has been gimmick free career. He never really was doing beefs he was selling records and making deals that’s why he has 11 number one albums. There is no post ether era, beause he hasn’t changed anything. Niccas need to make hits, that’s how you beef with Jay, take his spot and he will be hurting. Nas coudn’t do it, 50 can’t do it, Cam couldn’t do it and Jim Jones can’t do it. I guess niccas will have to wait for him to fall back.
