hmmm…I wonder if Chicago had been awarded the olympics we would suddenly start seeing news coverage of gang shootouts and savage fatal beatings of young people?!! Just why the sudden interest in Brazil by the British and American media…They tried the same thing with South Africa after they were awarded the World Cup… Don’t let them fool you, this type of shit, it happens everyday!!!

Ya those guys are the BOPE in English it stands for battalion operations police special. The aren’t police and they aren’t military they are somewhere in between they are pretty much military police who are allowed to arrest civilians. They only operate in the slums and pack millitary assault weapons and armored cars.

They do mad crazy shit to kill drug dealers. Ive heard stories like them being in a car chase and calling in a armored car to kill a drug dealer by smashing the car his in and snipin a drug dealer while he was eating in a restaurant in front of civilians.

Imagine eating at red lobster and u just see a nigga drop dead from a snipe and then the cops come in like “Dont worry people we only wanted to kill him don’t be alarmed continue eating”.

I go to Rio yearly and its not that bad as a matter of fact we staying 2 weeks in May so we keeps it popping out there plus my homeboy from Philly owns a bar which go so fed so we aint tripping on violence. Trust me we have some hell holes in America too

You cant compare brazil to america, in the slums of Rio orphans are shot dead if seen outside after certain times in the night. Also most of the police force is corrupt there anyway, so most drug dealers escape police operations. But you wanna kno the crazy thing….Brazil doesnt even have the highest homicide rates in south america!

Rio is still an amazing city with alot of culture and i would still visit if given the opportunity. Leave the jewels and anything of value at home, i aint looking to get jacked by no 11 year old with a strap, lol.

The Olympics are self destructive. With the threat of global warming we cannot afford such flagrant displays of excess and overconsumption. The best way to avoid 300,000 tons of emissions is for people to simply stay at home.
