That’s so messed up. Anytime I go to a hip hop show and its a southern artist part of the show most of the time people aren’t feeling it which I understand. Plus it was a party for Nah right so I didn’t expect him to be on stage for long.

But when I go to like the ATL or something and they have ny artist get on they show love, so I agree with 2-7 all day.

I don’t feel like it had anything to do with where he is from, or the quality of his work, but instead who the fans were there to see. I am from the south, but i appreciate all types of music from everywhere. To be honest, i will admit that his lyrical content is not deep or meaningful, but i think that has something to do with the fact that he wasnt trying to be deep. This song is not meant to inspire or make you go into deep thought or reflect on anything. I do believe that there are some rappers out there now who have little to no talent at all who are still doing well, and thats because ppl still support their music. if no one supported it then it would go away. everyone is entitled to their opinion about what makes a good song or a great artist. i think ppl should just look at it like this: if u dont like it dont listen to it. if it comes on the radio change the station. for example i prefer music from the 90s to whats out there now, but i can still appreciate what i feel is talent, and what i mean by talent is not necessarily having the most meaningful song, but instead just having the ability to entertain. I am entertained when i hear this mans song. There will always be ppl who are debating over where the best rappers come from, and who is the best artist of all time, but once again thats personal opinion. you cant and shouldnt try to force your opinion on anyone. What you consider to be trash or not being real, others enjoy listening to it and can even relate to it. we dont live other ppls lives so why tell them what they should like or respect. ppl like soulja boy may not have the best flow but he entertains, and thats why he makes money. i think its pointless to call ppl haters cuz in reality by doing that you are doing the same thing ur accusing them of. I love music period. some i dont care for so i just leave it alone, its just that simple. I know some of u might have a comment for me but please dont just get on me for how i type or things that are pointless in arguing about. i do and will respect any and all of your thoughts and if u disagree with me thats fine to im willing to look at things from a different perspective.
