    i’m from east coast, i love ny rap and all rap. but he is right, to get some spotlight coming from the west coast you gotta actually be good. dudes from the south and the east get spotlights for NO reason.
    i think its bc the old white man business model shows more success rates from the east coast, so they are more inclined to look to east and recruit from the east. not enough business for hip hop out west yet, need more west dudes to be making their own labels and companies the way dudes in the east do.

    if ur not on a major west coast label or u have a dre deal u will get over looked when death row fell off the west went wit it that was lik our def jam and i dnt think there is a def jam west so rappers like nipsey, rock and even kdot get over looked
