i dunno man, i feel like 2pac was heavily influenced by Scarface. Very close between jay and face on both, beans is excellent but im partial to those two. I gotta cop the Fix again as somebody stuck a gun in my face and i had no money so he took my cd case.

Really a toss up…But on “This Can’t Be Life” Scarface actually got the call about his homeboy right before recording his verse which puts him ahead of Hov. Imagine putting that together at that particular moment.

Guess Whos Back was a song i remember listening to over & over again. Between BEANS & FACE on this track for real, they flowed better
On “This Cant Be Life”, Although Face makes you feel what he went thru, the delivery on Beans puts him there, “Dead to the world, stretched out like a corpse for real” I still havent forgotten that line… he tied with Jay on that 1.
Beans wins cause he tied on both tracks for #1 for me.
Kanye was a monster… tracks that SOLIDIFIED him as a beatmaker

all were equally good on both. any of those verses are much better than anything out now
1. jay, face beans
2. beans, face, jay (bean and face were two strong on this one: lyrically and emotionally and jay’s verse was insane see: #52)
matter of fact, jay and beans received source “quotables” on both songs respectively…. back when the source mattered.
i remember when they were talking about doing a group album. they complement each other perfectly. that will be an album that i would buy.
truth be told, beans gave jay all he could handle on several tracks. he has yet to drop an elite album.
