I agree wit u LBOOGIE 2 a certain degree. Remember a past interview Jay did a few years ago when Beans first got locked up? As he put it, “sometimes you can take the person outta the hood, but not the hood outta them.” Some people just cannot separate business and the streets. Beans is one of those people who hasn’t learned that yet. Some of us have the hood in us, however, there’s a time & place for everything. I’m from Queens so let’s use 50 as an example. For those of use from Queens, we knew who 50, Yayo, G-Unit was etc….Now 50’s international, but best believe, if 50 still was the same hood N8gga to this day, his career would not get far, no vitamin water deal….etc… We all know that his camp cannot sell records, but they r still getting PAID… Jay-Z is the same way, comin out of Marcy and surpassing Elvis’s record & selling out the Garden for 2 days?!! ROCAFELLA ALREADY HAD STREET CREDIBILITY. rOCAFELLA WAS ALREADY A RECORD LABEL WITH JAY-Z RUNNING THE BRAND. So for Beans saying what he is saying is all just his opinions. Okay so Beans did fuck up his situation but still Jay-z didn’t give him any promotion of his music after Jay-z and dame split and beans STAYED LOYAL. Compare the support kanye got (when jay didn’t even think we would be a great rapper) to the support he gave beans to push ALBUMS. I’m not talking about bentleys, clothing lines and all that. I think beans is talking moreso about his MUSIC which jay-z did not support. Then add the fact that Jay-z wouldn’t let beans leave his contract to sign with 50. Now what I don’t understand is:

None of us know the behind doors discussions Jay had with Beanie but to me Beanie seems like one of the realest in the game and for him to come out against Jay I think lends credence to the speculations about Jay Z’s character. Seems as though Jay and Beanie did have a friendship above and beyond that of CEO and Artist. I mean all u have to do is look at the position Beans which Jay Z referenced in his response.
