I commend Joe because real be real artists make what 10 cents for every album sold… just because you sell a million records don’t mean shit cough 50 cough especially if your music has no substance.. (see jadakiss’ line about how 50 got shot so what is he rapping about now) not saying that fat joe has anything worth listening to… but look at the source.. 50 hasn’t dropped anything hot in a minute..

How Joe gon’ recover from such a blow, is the question at hand here. I read what everybodys had to say on the matter, and the majority had valid points. Although some was just damn stupid ”At least Joe dropped an album.” I was never a Joe fan, but c’mon man he should know better on how to go about making music for his fan base. My personal opinion I think thats what its all about. Making music for your demographic, if you happen to reel in new listeners thats the icing on the cake, that also shows that you got some type of flare poppin off with your music. This is how Soulja Boy been survivng. His music is straight up high school genre shit. Thats who pay his bills. 50, to me came hard his first 2 albums, oh and especially when he was underground. After that it’s just been funny ass stunts like this that’s keeps him relevant in the hip hop ring. Its a tricky thing now, cause an artist today gotta be able to make music that keep folks rockin to as well as make you think like “damn did he/she just say that?” And at the same time pull them big numbers. You either get a rapper who can one or the other, but it’s rare to get an artist that can do both and be that complete package.
