you sound like racists to me. anything happens and your focus is on skin color. Be that white or black. JImmy carter was an ill suited ill prepared president. He performs best when nailing a board or out of sight. so calling someone a liar makes the person racist. Hm…. I believe skin color was brought per usual. contempt prior to investigation seems to be the hallmark of Jimmy and his like. when that harvard professor was arrested I decided that before I weighed in on the top I would investigate the matter. of course i went to black websites one being the Root. I knew my first reaction was to take the cops side but after much thought and INVESTIGATION i saw the professor’s reaction was in my opinion caused by years of racism that boiled over from being exhausted and challenged in his home. I thought the beer summit a pathetic attempt to sweep under the rug a total lack of tolerance by most blacks to white and whites to blacks.

People who support our presedent we have got to stand up as one right now. Whether wrong or right we have to establish a united front, the other side has already drawn the line in the sand. This thing is gonna get worse before it gets better. Look back in history, whenever change was coming the storm set in really bad first. We have got to ride this storm out to the end ppl. Obama could possibly lose his life behind all this but it would be for the ggod of our kids and grandkids. He might not even get the credit for this, he may not be in office but it has to start somewhere. We know why republicans (whites) are in an uproar its not new to us. Let’s just get our selves ready for what ever is next.

@marytexas, u sound like you are white and there is no way you can identify with being a black person in this rascist society. You CANNOT look at the situation objectively. I experience rascism every day in New York City as if because my complexion is darker, i am somehow less human than someone whose skin is lighter. Read my previous sentence again, does that not seem childish to you? Rascist americans are quick to say that we always make issues or disagreements about race, you cannot piss in my face and tell me that it’s raining. No matter how much rascists want to beleive that black people are stupid, it is simply not true. But in order to somehow switch the situation from what it really is that is the first thing they tend to say, oh, they always make it into a black white issue. WELL, IT IS! The public wasn’t this disturbed by the lies our previous president told to send troops off to a war that was unwarranted and caused thousands of americans to die. Think about that MaryTexas, how would you feel if you had a black son and he was constantly taught to beleive that he was not equal to a person who had lighter skin? Our children are targets in this country, the very same country they were born in, the very same country that their ancestors were forced to migrate to. Racism is alive and well in this country that is truth, and thank you Mr. Jimmy Carter for admitting it.

Yeah that’s it Jimmy. It’s not his policy but the color of his skin that fiscal conservatives hate.
We also don’t like Nancy Pelosi because she’s a woman, Harry Reid because he’s a Mormon, you because you are a baptist and John Murtha and the late Ted Kennedy because they are Irish.
Yeah that’s the ticket.

Kudos to you mahagony01! The denial that racism no longer exists is a cowardly defense to the reality that it does in fact STILL exists. If you recall, Obama never made his candidacy about race…AMERICA made it about race…’first black president…” oh and then they wanna take that title away too with silly claims such as ‘he is only half black, therefore, he isn’t truly our first black president’ WOW!!! Really?!?! I remember learning about the one drop or 1/8th rule… but some how now that doesn’t apply?!?! what hypocrisy! So marytexas, how do you defend right-winged America’s spectacle pertaining to President Obama’s inspirational speech to our youth? Or his ‘poor’ choice of words when commenting on the police misconduct issue? why is it that such silly issues are made into controversy? what is so wrong with our president asking our youth how they will help their commander in chief? After all, don’t we inspire our children by telling them they can be anything, even PRESIDENT if they wanted to? Here, in the aforementioned statement which encourages youth to aspire to be all they can be with reference to running for presidency, it is contradicted by this ridiculous argument that President Obama has some secret ill motive by asking the youth to help him and themselves by doing their part to ensure that our country is the best it can be. Like seldom_seen73 says, we need to unite, stand together as a country, and support our President- whom ever it may be.
