All im saying is saying is why did Leno have to bring Kanye’s mom into it? Kanye looked like he wanted to cry at that point. The whole incident was clearly a example of when keeping it real goes wrong! Hopefully this can be a lesson learned for Kanye, still love his music though.

Yeah, he shouldn’t have gone there (meaning Jay), but Kanye should have exercised better judgment. Being drunk isn’t an excuse, or being famous, rich, or whatever vice you want. He knows better and was raised better. He had a mother who was there and was able to teach him. That should have been enough for Kanye and his conscience. because the EXACT details of the rihanna / chris thing were under wraps. when it first came out, people weren’t sure who attacked who first, and who’s story was real.
and other singers didnt want to comment on it as loudly BECAUSE of how serious it was.
as we can see, entertainment is easier to comment on and this was easy too because it was seen live, in public.

Kanye is gaining so much publicity(bad publicity is good publicity) from this stunt. His fans doesn’t care if he dissed a country singer, they will still buy his next album.
4. Beyonce saves the day and dedicates her award to the young singer. You think B really cares about a VMA at this point in her career…NO.
5.Taylors album sales will get a significant boost because people feel sorry for her.
6.If MTV really was embarrassed by the stunt, they would not have re-aired it on the rerun episode of the awards or posted it on their website.
I feel that this information is necessary because we can’t allow the media to blind us and think we are stupid. And the sad thing is they are using our talented Hip Hop artists to do the dirty work. Leno was not out of line. He approached him like an ordinary older figure would approach a little child. This is OK because Leno has been in entertainment for a LOT longer then Kanye and besides that is actually about twenty years his elder. Asking “how would your mother feel” is a reprimand not the cheap insult people are treating it like.
The aim of that is not to rub it in his face, but make the man stop and think truly about what he did and hopefully finally become a better person.
