Havent you learned anything from MJ yet?

  6. stan Says:

    Preach heehee

Lord knows if MJ hadn’t died and released a new song EVERYBODY would be hatin it saying he needs to give it up, retire, go molest kids etc.

    People are so two faced

These are the same people that would’ve said “Chris Brown is better” than MJ. When all Chris Brown does is swagger jack everything MJ does.

SMH at the state of music and people’s enjoyment of mediocrity

Oh yeah this song is banga

  10. SHIZ Says:

SWISS PRODUCED IT AND I THINK ALICIA KEYS WROTE IT. IT SOUNDS GOOD BUT TOO OLD. THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HER A UNIVERSAL CROSSOVER RECORD OR ONE THAT WILL HAVE URBAN RADIO APPEAL. THIS SONG WILL BE ON ADULT CONTEMPORARY RADIO. LOOK AT MARY MARY THE GOD IN ME, THAT BEAT IS URBAN RADIO WITH A GOOD MESSAGE. WITH WHITNEY ITS ABOUT THE BEAT CUZ SHE CAN SING. THAT RASPY SOUND IS ONE OF HER STYLES.

  11. TYBO2020 Says:

  12. l Says:

Haters are gonna Hate! That’s what they do. Pay some respect. This joint is CRAZY!

  13. Kaz Says:

HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has a feel-good vibe, old school R&B sound. Really diggin this song. And Whitney sounds great.

  14. yo Says:

  16. YOUNG_CHRIST Says:

  17. IndyMusicMogul Says:

    JUST AN OBSERVATION

The majority of “white” hosted media blogs are extremely supportive with mad love for Whitney’s new project, but the majority of the urban community blogs are rude and unsupportive. Her own people have nothing pleasant to say. Just a shame. Build you up to tear you down I guest. Well… it is a good thing the project is listed as pop and not R&B, because as a pop project she will win several grammys…

Just glad to hear her, but I’m gonna miss the shit out of MJ. I’ve been listening to a lot of the Jackson Five and a lot of their music was incorporated into hip hop including the beat the used for Biggie’s part in the Benjamin’s remix, Ghostface’s song with MJ, (ALL THAT I GOT IS YOU) and Usher had some Jackson Five samples on Confesssions. All of them had a big part in what became hip hop since they used a lot of drums and beats in their early songs. I’m rediscovering MJ all over again.

  19. Team Mate Says:

Man you people don’t know music…da track has a classic 70’s baseline….modern beats…and most of all real lyrics by someone that can deliver them….this is going to be played in the clubs and da females are going to go nuts….I just hope they do a remix….that would be hot.
Up, Down, Left, Right….Let me hear you say…Oooo …Ooooo…
(Do yall forget that not long ago there was no BET and Mtv didn’t play songs by people of color? What Whitney and Mike did back in the day made it possible for us to be where we are now in the music and entertainment field – So if nothing else respect that!)
We need to learn how to support our own and be more positive towards one another. Yall forget “everybody” can read what’s online. When we talk down about each other its like we are talking family business out in public.

  20. Michael Says:

Black people are so hateful to each other. Why are white sites and networks praising her?I mean the praise has been that of a GODDESS! It goes back to when she was booed by audience members at the soul train awards in the 80s. IDIOTS! The woman is the most awarded female singer of all time and opened up doors for these crappy artists today to even get more airplay. Al Sharpton and these bafoons might want to shift their attention to how Blacks treat each other. That’s the real problem in the black community. NOT RACIAL PROFILING! This cd is amazing but of course the black culture has become so oversexualized that nothing is understoood unless it talks of how someone is jealous or hating, or booty booty, spread the legs, birthday sex, freak me, daddy daddy rain on me. Just sick! Embarrassing and our ancestors have to be turning over in their graves. All that bloodshed and struggle for crap!

  21. MJFAN Says:

MJ killed him, who knows if would have killed the song but great Whit

  22. MJFAN Says:

meant MJ killed himself, great job Whit

  23. Keepin It Real Says:

She sounds like cousin Dionne and that ain’t good. Don’t waste your money. If this is the killer song this album is Weak and Sorry!

  24. Rob from D.C. Says:

I’ve loved Whitney since 1985 but I’m not understanding the negative unsupportive individuals of Ms. Houston’s efforts to continue to record and put out good music that has substance. We have been so consumed with the garbage that has been played on MTV and BET for so long that some of you actualy believe that this is real music WAKE UP YOUNG BLACK PEOPLE!!! It is finaly refreshing to here someone continue to put out positive music that appeals to the young and old. Clive Davis and yes Clive Davis stated that Whitney’s album is about Whitney and not about following any type of trend or using the beat of the moment. The album will debut at #1 and the single will hit #1 as well the single Million dollar Bill is being played on all radio formats including R&B. If you grew up in the 80s and any decaded that praised the talents of black women in the industry that could sing there ass off pat yourself on the back. Some of these women listed below are underated because there not shaking there a@s in video’s polluted with grimey looking hip hop artist who degrade black women for the ole mighty dollar. Whitney will forever be a class act and there will never be another. I’m am so proud these women just to name a few who continue to release solid albums and stay true to the true art of singing Jill Scott, Fantaisia, Jennifer Hudson, Jazzmine Sulivan, Vivian Green just to name a few. Regaurdless of your attitude towards Whitney Houston you all must realize this Whitney’s first album was released in 1985 and folks she’s still here. How many of todays artist will last that long and have over 100 million in sales with only seven studio albums and three soundtracks I don’t know any and I don’t really know any other than some of those listed above that will be around that long. Substance people!!!!

  25. Sadie Says:

It’s a winner. Can’t wait to see her perform it live.

  26. charlie350 Says:

Wow, these comments are really all over the place. I’ll start my say with the music. This isn’t the best music that we’ve heard from Whitney, but it isn’t awful. Million Dollar Bill has it’s moments and with another mix will certainly turn up in the clubs and enjoy some success. It reminds me a lot of the disco arrangements that Norman Harris did back in the 70’s and sort of keep waiting for Loleatta Holloway’s voice to break out.

About Black people wanting to tear down other Black folks, well, I don’t know. Surely Whitney has taken a fall but much of it was of her own making. But let’s not forget that she is one of the great talents. Talent-wise she is no Aretha and has never been able to fill those shoes, but she has never been about that. She has always been Whitney, and has made her own impact and contribution as a singer and as a Black woman. Her success has not been small. I’m just glad to see her back singing again for better or worse.

I also want to disagree specifically with one earlier comment. Racial profiling is still a very real thing. The weakest and least able to defend themselves are the biggest victims as always. This is still a dangerous and violent world for people of color. Just take a look over a Fox News if you have any doubts.
