This beat is so sick that most people sound good on it. I think he tried and he’s getting better but there are more rappers than not that could have done a much job. All in all I like it. I hope he keeps writing and trying to improve. Turn my swag on is not and has never been my ringtone.

This caliber of beat is what suits Soulja Boy. He need to start working with some big name produces and up his production quality of his next album.

He seems to be maturing a lot, I just hope he comes away from all the ring tone rap and is going to give it a go at making real music.

this was actually pretty good….he’s improving lyrically n puttin thought into wat he sayin….this will only make him better. U can still mix in quality lyrics wit a catchy ass hook…and be a popular Soulja boy song….fans can still understand wat he’s spittin…lyrics don’t need to be dumbed down that much….plus he’ll be alot more respected…he has to make sure he still bring out those catchy hooks

The whole beat in this song works, but is copied. Soulja boy is trying too hard to be lyrical. He is no way even close to being lyrical. In fact he is like dr dre (NWA) Dre was not lyrical, and would have Cube write for him, even Jay Z wrote for dre. Dre was good at pulling in crowds promotion etc. Dre though was actually good at production, I mean soulja boy could be if he really put his heart into it. I feel the best way forward for soulja, would be based on him being a producer who drop in a line or two. He has his only feel and f he stays true to that and makes his own beats up and helps produce up and coming artists tracks then he would find his true call in hip hop. Live your dream and do what you feel is right Soulja. Peace from London. One other note: This is constructive adviose, not hating, the word hater or hating is over used. Hip hop (true hip hop) is a serious art form, if you can’t give 100% then you are out. Soulja boy has what it takes but I would like to see him focus more on production.
