I give fab his due he is underrated, and I’m starting to think it’s no one’s fault but his own. Why you ask? He had the perfect concept for his album to go in, “Carlito’s Way” talking about the hustlers life. He has 16 tracks on his album 8 of them are with R&B artist singing! WTF?? He does NOT include “welcome to my workplace” or “a toast to the good life” as an official track.

Both of those songs go along with the concept that he created for his album. He had his pocket but decided only to sprinkle his album with it.

Just wanted to let ya know that Fab didnt take that song from Jay. JD produced it and fab and jay both spit on it and jays version leaked after fab owned the song already. fab had to roll with the punches after that. btw jay was not gonna put that song in his album since hes not releasing any of the songs that leaked like jockin jay-z, history, etc.
P.S. I’m a die hard jay z fan but fabolous verison is way better than jays, jay wasnt saying anything in his

Fun fact: This is the 3rd single Jay-Z has passed on to Fab. Make Me Better was a Jay-Z song then he passed it to Fab. Return Of The Hustle was supposed to be on Kingdom Come then he passed it to Fab. And now this one.

I used to be a Fab fan but now it seems Def Jam A&R’s just go around looking for hooks and completed songs to give him. Then he slaps on his generic bars and they call it a song.

And when Fab gets to that age he’ll be different too. How u expect some one to remain the same musically their whole carrer. Especially when u have a carrrer like Jay has had. Fab is on his way to reaching a level in his carrer kinda like when Hov was in his early 30s. Its all progression. Staying stagnet isnt good anyway you look at it. I enjoy Hov at 26 like how I enjoy his music at 40. And if he keeps makin music when he;s 50 well hell Imma probably enjoy it then too.

When kingdom come came alot of people were not feeling it, but amercian gangster came niggas was loving it.
