its true mixtapes dont really count. an mc is like a producer in the way that he can hear a beat that might not jump out at you instrumentally, but know that with a certain kind of flow i.e. the final instrument in the mix, it can jump off. if you heard the A Millie instrumental without lil wayne before you heard the real song, what would you think?

Ummmmm, Joe Budden’s albums were released at retail (with the exception of Mood Muzik 2, Halfway House, Escape Route). HH and ER were dgital releases on Amalgam, but “Mood Muzik 3: the Album” and “Padded Room” were both released in retail. I just saw em the other day at Best Buy. Matter of fact, I bought both at Best Buy months ago. His next album, “The Great Escape” will also be released at retail.
