I thought the LAKERS getting PAU GASOL was a steal DAMN they got Ron Artest the LAKERS aint playing fair now lol. Lebron went to LA to meet up with Artest to convince him to go to the CAVS but Ron didnt want to go. Lebron must feel like shit Trevor or Ron didnt go to the CAVS. Boston aint playing to they gonna get SHEED. The Magic have gotten weak.

Lakers might be unguardable now. Three 7 footers up front, artest and kobe in the back. Lakers been my team since magic days. But with all the trades happening it feels to me like they need just one more player and bynum has to play really well. If they those two things happen Lakers getting another ring, for sure. Oh and is it me or do they need a new point???? Sorry d fish but damn, your getting to that age…….

these are one of them trades ..that sound good on paper .untill you see them in action , then it’s quick to go sour ..for instants .. shaq to phoenix … .iverson to detroit …stephon marbury to new york ..for a couple of examples .so don’t get to excited yet laker fans . then you gotta worry about team chemistry .because if your team mates isn’t getting along with each other off court ..then on court ..that sometimes causes problems ..you know kobe and ron has had alot of problems with each other in the pass ..but if you look pass all that . it’s a nice pickup ..but at the same time im feelin ..artest for triva ariza equals bad trade .. ever heard of the saying .. ” if it’s not broke, don’t try to fix it” …yeah, you know what i’m tryna say ..

I think this is good. The difference between Shaq, Iverson and Artest, is Ron is willing to take a back seat to win a ring. Shaq and Iverson didn’t.

@Basklash…Ron isnt gonna to act up Kobe and PHIL are there. I feel Trevor see when you play with Kobe and Pau and Lamar your game looks nice. Ron Artest wants to WIN A RING. This LA LAKERS team is gonna be SCARY next season. I wonder what was Lebron reaction when he heard Ron was going to the LAKERS and trevor was going the ROCKETS? lol. The Cavs need a power forward and shooting guard.

Ron Artest reminds me of Anthony Mason. He has a big body, he’s physical and he’s a great defensive player & he has some skill on the offensive end too. BUT, he’s always been a hot head and sorta fucks it up for himself. But I look at it like this, if Phil could coach Dennis Rodman and his crazy ass, he can get Ron to blend in with the team and the Triangle offense. But on the real, Ariza will be missed by Laker fans, they just lost so much speed/fast break points, an improving shooter & a guy who can play the passing lanes well and steal ball. A very good defender. I wish we could have both Artest & Ariza BUT it is what is!

LMAO WOW….its funny how when the our seasons were down and kobe wanted to be traded…everybody stopped being a lakers fan, but JUST as soon as we win a championship its IVE ALWAYS ALWAYS BEEN A LAKERS FAN SINCE BLAH BLAH BLAH….what the hell…weird isnt it

anyway..as soon as ron gets situated lakers will be unstoppable. just like in the playoffs when he brung back out the aggresiveness in kobe…hes going to do it every time we have that “we cant be beat so we dont have to play hard this game” the first few games might be a little rough if artest tries to be the star every game but its gonna work out.

great for the lakers he adds toughness and his defense gives kobe the chance to relax. I dont think people understand kobe provide so much offense than has to guard the other teams best player which can be exhausting now they have artest who can guard the 2 and 3 spots respectively add that with kobe’s playmaking ability along with pau and bynum its a wrap especially if odom returns theyre the favorite but watch out for the spurs they added some key pieces and are a legit contender

Lakers had Shaq, Kobe, Malone and GP during the 2003/4 season and we all know what happen with that team(got almost swept in the finals).

They are signing Lamar Odom back most definitely. He’s the piece to the Laker’s puzzle that they need to repeat. Trevor Ariza is going to the Rockets. To be honest, The lakers are going to repeat. The only team standing in their way is the Nuggets but they can’t fuck with the Lakers, let’s get real.

This is what you call an upgrade. People thinks this is going be a chemistry problem but people doesnt know that Ron, Kobe and LO are all friends off court. For homeboy to compare this move to malone and GP in Lakers uniform doesnt know much about the game. Malone and GP went to lakers at the tail end of their career. They both didnt understand the triangle, and they were not the same players like they use too especially Malone since he was injury prone that last two years. So for those that wants to hate. . .HATE ON PLAYA!!!
