I think cats put Tupac on they list just to be politically correct…but cmon! 2pac was an average rapper, who was just deep and cud reach the thugs and pro-black crowd…his skills are not top 5 worthy when it comes to straight up rapping and blowing up for it.

Pac being top 5 is fact…u don’t have to be a thug or pro-black to relate to Dear Mama, When My Homies Call, Pour Out a A Lil Liquor, I Get Around, etc. His music not just the songs in radio rotation, was great without A+ lyrics and it was relatable across the board. In my opinion. Scarface gives u a visual with his songs and his track record is impeccable. Go listen to the ‘MADE’ album one Saturday when you’re free & tell me u didn’t run a track back.

@ #3 … no one has ever been as consistant as jay … if not jay than who ? and if you say weezy killya self … not even em is as consistant and i love em … but there was only 3 or 4 good tracks on relapse and encore … every line jay ever spit since reasonable doubt has been hot … maybe not the beat or hook or guest appearance .. but you cant find me one wack verse by itself from him thats weak … he is by far the g.o.a.t …. not even close for anyone else … not big .. not pac …… not em or weezy …. people need to start apreciating what we have in jay-z cuz when hes gone for good hes gonna be missed
