So far.. one hit/banger… what else does he really have to offer.. his mixtape aint all that.. he got some good songs but he’s not exactly being measured by what he has delivered yet..

My 2 cents..
I think this guy is the next big thing because
1 he CAN rap.
2 He not trying to be something he not.
3 He has the look (no homo).
4 He can speak well and give good interviews (polished image).
5 He can act.
6 He has the support of Major artist like Mary J and Jay z..etc.
7 He got the Buzz.. dont know how but he got it…
8. And they playing up this ladies man image that turns into records sales and dudes feeling him also.

However i dont think being under Lil Wayne is a good look. I really think its a bad move… Its all about Wayne and Baby and i think he have to be careful. But from the sound of it on the interview, He has total control… we will see. I wish dude well

Yo, veraci0us, J. Cole might be better lyrically, but Jay-Z hasn’t been giving him shine. Maybe he wants to earn it himself, maybe jay is too busy, but all I know is, at the height of wayne’s success he put drake on, when he performed drake’s “money to blow” verse at the vma’s. What has jay done? J. cole’s dope, but you and I know, you don’t get buzz until you get a co-sign, and Jay’s co-sign wasn’t strong enough. He should’ve brought J. Cole out for his DOA performance at BET, so he could spit a verse that would be on a remix or something.
