MJ is more than just music. He’s a universial icon amazing singer dancer artist crazy childhood and a bizarre person all in one person so obviously a lot of things are not only gonna be about his music. It was the same thing when Elvis died. MJ was in the public eye so everything both positive and negative press will be out there.

hmmm so celebrating the life and success of one of Americans Greats is now labeled as Glorification? Bill even brought the race component now blacks are more interested in this and i assume he is implying all of our energy is put into michael rather politics or what he feels should be important. Yea there is alot of people who fight for this country & die in the war but how many people know of them across the world? Michael Jackson tried to bring the world together! The people who fight in ever war are helping to tear it apart by defending their countries! You think american troops will be praised in other countries! do you think any other troops will be praised here! No! We all see each others as enemies! Even in our own countries we fight each other! People are so ignorant! Since when is celebrating & remembering all the things some one does & love they shared in their life become glorifying! If you had a good heart & you passed away wouldn’t you want somebody to remember you for the joy you brought to people? It’s not his fault he was so popular & touched so many people! Michael Jackson was a great musician. That said he was a freak who’s musical contributions while considerable are not worthy of the adoration and blind eyes turned toward his lifestyle. The man was so torn and damaged internally that he went so far as to deny his own genetic make up. He didn’t want to be black and had white kids on purpose. He chose to sleep with little boys. Whether sexual or not, that is sick. He was a sad little man deserving of our pity. Honor his music, not his life. The best contribution of his sudden death is that it shows we are a heart beat away from our eternal judgment.

What people do not understand is that it is what people want to know…you can’t fault a NEWS station for reporting NEWS that people want to hear…Twitter and Facebook have been bombarded with news of Jackson…Jackson’s facebook page has the highest fans of anyone’s….30% of tweets were about Jackson, his coverage broke Obama’s live stream record…Google thought they were being attacked by a virus with people looking for info on MJ and their site went down for 30 mins….Yahoo, Fox News, CNN, TMZ and all other media and news sites went down or were severely slow because of people looking for info on Jackson…I’m sorry but there is no glorification here…if you don’t give the people what they want…in a government for the people then what the hell is your purpose? I agree with Bill O’Reilly, the media glorified michael jackson. the media pretty much f the Soldiers dying in the middle east. Since when the last time, the media glorified the American Soldier, since when!. During the Bush Administration, the main stream media praise their small gods in glorifying the bombings and killings on american Soldiers in Iraq. O how the media celebrated the insurgents killing our boys in iraq. O my damn goodness, every single day, the media praise their small-gods showing buring vehicles and dead American Soldiers killed in Iraq, o hunny bun, they had such a field day.
