There’s a whole book and entire RELIGION based on the guy. Even MUSLIMS recognize that he lived and died. If anyone on this message board feels like reading/researching, there was a book written a few years ago called “The Case for Christ”. It was writting by an ATHEIST. #35, if you’re asking questions here’s your answer, no way am i judging nor condemning you but if you claim to use logic and reasoning answer me this. 1. The Bible is essentially two totally different books. The majority of “stories” were written by one man, Moses. Those occur in the first 5 books of the old testament. The rest of the books are either accounts of real people (King David, Esther, Joshua, Soloman and so forth). As for the new testament the Gospels are first hand accounts of Jesus’ life and the rest are letters and prophecies. 2.First of all, im sorry but there is no doubt Jesus lived. For example, Our time period is based on him A.D.= Ano Domini which is latin for “Year of Our Lord”. No one has ever said he didnt live. I find it hard that someone came up with the idea of religion. Made up and entire story and book about one man, and was able to make everyone believe it and not question it. If you claim Jesus didnt exist that means everyone he interacted with, Kings, Rulers, and so forth didnt exist. Secondly, what kind of proof are you looking for? This was 2000 years ago. They didnt have youtube or the internet. All they had were the writing of events. How can you ask for factual proof of miracles besides whats written? I just dont really get that point. Photographs were invented in the 1800’s. Before that every single proof of anything that happened before that is solely based on written text by men. If you question Jesus, you’re questioning every other piece of history before him. And like the guy before me said “I’d rather believe in Jesus and be wrong than not believe in Jesus and be wrong.” Worst case scenario if Jesus or God doesnt exist, nothing happens. Worst case scenario if they do exist and you dont believe, you go to hell. Hopefully i didnt come off as judgmental. and sorry its so long. Just trying to give well thought, fact based responses.

No one can prove JC ever walked on water; yes, “PEOPLE SAY JESUS COULD WALK ON WATER!!!”. Secondly, JC wasn’t even as popular as he is now when he was alive, and that’s a documented fact. The authors of the bible made JC appear more than he was when only after his death. I’m willing to contest that MJ is the 2nd most famous person in the history of mankind, second to JC. Religion is all made up! But it’s all about what you believe in! Some people choose not to believe in religion! Some do! Some things about it could be true or false! But we would never know cause we wasn’t around when it was taking place or made up! It’s all about do you believe in any of them, do any of them make sense to you? You could never prove some one walked on water because us humans today can’t do it! All humans besides jesus had sin in them! Daniel 12:1-3 (NIV) “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time you people– everyone whose name is found written in the book– will be delivered. 2Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” Notice it says Michael?? Have you listened to “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5 lately?? You Tube it and look at the lyrics. The other thing I found interesting was in verse 2 where it said “multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake”. Does anybody here know what the greatest music video of all time is? If you said Thriller you’re right! And do you remember what that video was about? If you said the ressurection of the dead, you’re a genius! Now here is the kicker…all of the main world religions claim there is a Last Day and a Ressurection, even Jesus talked about it in John 5:24-30 (NIV)

“25I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26For as the Father has life in himself, se he has granted the Son to have life in himself. 27And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. 28″Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in there graves will hear his voice 29and come out– those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. 30By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgement is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.”

Notice this same event of the ressurection of the Dead is taking place that was talked about in Daniel 12, yet in Daniel the event happens when Michael arises, and Jesus reffering to himself as the Son of Man says that when they hear HIS voice all who are in their graves will come out. When Jesus came the first time he was the Son of God, born of a virgin, no physical father. Wow! This whole blog proves that the Bible is True and we are definately in the last days… God Bless ALL of you whether you believe in the Almighty or not, especially the non-believers maybe you will come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. GOD BLESS Lil’ Mama for her courage to make such a bold statement, I believe it was the Holy Spirit who led her to say it. I do not write to you as someone who was raised in the Church, no, I come from a past of sexual abuse, brokeness, instability, and shame. This is the voice and testimony of a redeemed child of God bought and paid for by the blood of the Lamb! HALLELUIAH! Peace Be Upon all of my brothers and sisters in Christ that have commented here. God Bless you for your testimony of the Son of God. I don’t know how many of you study bible prophesy, but if you do, you know that we are on the threshold of the end of time!! What you may not know is the significance of the life of Michael Jackson in Bible prophesy. It’s obvious the majority commenting here don’t believe in the Word of God which is to be expected:
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NIV) “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God–5 Having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. ” I myself don’t write anything in judgment of anybody, these are not my words, these are the words of the Book that most of you claim to be false, yet they seem to be speaking about you! How is that so if there is no absolute truth? I tell you there is an absolute Truth and his name is JEHOVAH the God of Israel, the all merciful, all gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love. And this God, out of love, sent his son Jesus Christ into the world to leave us an example of love that we may follow it. Christ also promised us that he would come back, like a thief in the night, or a “Smooth Criminal” perhaps? (pun intended) … I write these words knowing they will be criticized and ridiculed in the hopes that all of you reading this will see and understand God’s plan for us in these last days. There is an unfulfilled prophesy in the Book of Daniel chapter 12 that speaks specifically about the The End Times. In the previous chapters it speaks of wars between the king of the North and the King of the South, I can’t tell you that I fully understand those verses but I do know that they also talk about an “abomination that causes desolation” being set up. Has anyone else here picked up on the fact that ever since our new president has taken office we have officially become an “OBAMA NATION”? And how much are we in debt now? In the Trillions after they try to get there “healthscare” system into place?? We may not see it now but we are DESOLATE! Anyways now that we’ve pointed this out let me take you back to chapter 12:
Daniel 12:1-3 (NIV) “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time you people– everyone whose name is found written in the book– will be delivered. 2Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” Notice it says Michael?? Have you listened to “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5 lately?? You Tube it and look at the lyrics. The other thing I found interesting was in verse 2 where it said “multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake”. Does anybody here know what the greatest music video of all time is? If you said Thriller you’re right! And do you remember what that video was about? If you said the ressurection of the dead, you’re a genius! Now here is the kicker…all of the main world religions claim there is a Last Day and a Ressurection, even Jesus talked about it in John 5:24-30 (NIV)

“25I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26For as the Father has life in himself, se he has granted the Son to have life in himself. 27And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. 28″Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in there graves will hear his voice 29and come out– those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. 30By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgement is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.”

Notice this same event of the ressurection of the Dead is taking place that was talked about in Daniel 12, yet in Daniel the event happens when Michael arises, and Jesus reffering to himself as the Son of Man says that when they hear HIS voice all who are in their graves will come out.
