i can’t believe eminem fans can get salty over a mariah carey track… y’all corny for that.. she’s not a rapper and he provokes her (why is she getting blasted when the only 2 times she referenced him was after he called her a slut or a whore) but at the end of the day.. their albums don’t compete on the same charts.. her success will be measured much differently than his will… i hate to tell u that rap charts are the r&b charts’ little brother.

before y’all misinterpret, when we talk abt music history 50 years from now, r&b will be mentioned like pop, rock and country charts. rappers AND THEIR FANS tear each other down too much to be taken seriously for world-wide success on a HUGE level. EM, Jay Z, and 2Pac all have great sales (Eminem definitely a bit more commercial than the other 2) but as a whole, the fans feel that they can’t like 2 different artists so artist beefs = lower sales… which means rap won’t compete as a genre.
