People are so dumb and naive at the same time when it comes to sports. “can shaq help lebron and the cavs….?” OF COURSE HE CAN’T. that’s a no brainer. I’m tired of people thinking that just because a player might have been a star back in the days that he can still be effective. Shaq is old; everybody loves shaq but his time has passed, he’s not the shaq he used to be everyone with a brain knows that. Look what happened to the suns after they acquired him. This was a team who pulled 60 wins a season easily, they couldnt do SHIT with shaq. Look what happened to the pistons when they acquired iverson. and this was a team who made it to the conference finals like 6 years in a row.

the moral of the story is: STOP ACQUIRING THESE HAS-BEENS THINKING THEY’RE GONNA HELP YOUR TEAM WHEN IT’S A PROVEN FACT THAT ALL IT DOES IS HURT THE TEAM. I put $500 on the line saying that if the cavs indeed get shaq, next season is gonna be one of their most disappointing seasons so far since lebron stepped there, and i know that for a fact.
do these managers ever think about getting YOUNGER GUYS? GUYS THAT ARE COMING UP? but shit, I forgot we’re living in a capitalist world, all this shit is gonna do is boost up cavs season tickets cuz shaq is good for that, ask the jews…they know that deep down but wont admit it. you actually think they give a fuck about the actual sport side of things? its all about loot these days.

I can already foresee next years playoffs, youve got a quite similar trend in the west and same in the east until KG and the Celtics beat out the Magic and then an excellent Eastern finals championship where the Cavs take a 4-3 on the Celtics and then make it to the Finals where they sweep the Lakers =)

I know the Celtics are trying to trade Rondo causes dude be acting like a bitch. I want the KNICKS to draft stephen curry tonite finally NYC can get a buzz. ONLY reason why the cavs want shaq is because of D-Howard.

What to watch for this offseason:

1. Magic-They gotta re-sign Hedo and Rafter Aston this offseason
2. Celtics-They wanna trade Rondo causes of his problems with teammates
3. Cavs-Need a shootguard and needs help with bench points

ok, who has cleveland have that can bang in the paint. not one dude. this is a beautiful pick up for the cavs. if im paying 18 million for ben wallace, i rather pay 20 million for Shaq. its going to be great for lebron. he can give shaq the ball and move out the way. also, assist. if hes averaging 6 assist a game. with shaq he going to average 9. its a WIN WIN for the cavs. i get rid of a shooting guard that gets no burn, and a over paid bench player Ben wallace. Are you kidding, thats a steal. and shaq is still nice, he bangs, he protects the paint, could pass and still gets double teamed. to this day, no one could guard him one on one

Shaq CANT help LeBron, he’s getting too old! And Shaq is just jumping on a team with the Huge Star with Massive potential! At first he use to be jealous of them but now he realizes he needs them!

He was jealous of Penny in Orlando

He was jealous of Kobe in LA, who has gotten out of Shaq’s shadow PROPS to Kobe, thats another reason he went to Cleveland

He won a ring with D-Wade, but on openning night of the following season, the night they recieved their Rings, they got smacked by 40 to The Bulls & Swept by the Bulls in the Playoffs! Then the next season, He runs to Phoenix after Miami starts the season 9-43 leaving D-Wade hanging!

Now he runs to Cleveland because The Suns didnt make the Playoff due to Amare’s eye injury!

My only question is, if Cleveland doesnt win a ring this year, where will Shaq go? Does he finally retire? Or will he go back to LA, or will he go to San Antonio & rebuild the Twin Towers with Duncan? SMH!

Wow this is a great pick for the Cavs!

They should try and pick up Penny Hardaway with extra cap space.
Shaq is so strong and fast!

I think Charles Barkley could add to the Cavs depth as well. He is funny and big just like Shaq.

Watch out LA here comes the Cleveland Cavaliers!

The name was a good pickup but Shaq is too old to be that much of a impact player. He’s gonna have to post up for 48 minutes which wears you out more than the Suns run and gun system. Cavs fans and bandwagoners will be dissapointed with the playoff exit the Cavs will have next season.
Lebron is just one of those players that are good but won’t get a ring (Tracy McGrady, Dan Marino)
