Errr…no, the Holy Trinity of Rappers that introduced new ways of speak…..Rakim…Kool G. Rap…..Big Daddy Kane…..Krs One is Honorable mention, along with Freddy Foxxx and Lord Finesse….Go Do your fucking HOMEWORK niggas. I can tell you who styles descended from who.
Nas is a combo of Rakim and G. Rap….Jay Z is a combo of Jaz O(forgot to mention him) and Big Daddy Kane. Big Pun got his from Kool G. Rap(he even kissed G. Rap’s ring)….All that double and triple syllable punchline shit is from Lord Finness, so you can’t say Jadakiss or Big L was the best. Other Honorable mentions of people who came with they own style and didn’t bite is Pharoah Monch and Percy P(do your research nigga)

#24 ezl_oo hit it on the head, if a majority of the mc’s in your top 10 or 5 put em in their best rapper list how then can u go against their choice. in any craft if u are recognized by your peers in said craft, that is the biggest validation of contribution and success. jay-z, nas, jada, 50, krs-one, and fab just to name a few of the people i’m positive we can all agree know something about being a good mc and have all cosigned em as one of the best.
