If Eminem is not the greatest rapper alive then who is…….Jay Z….Can Jay Z, Lil Wayne. Could these people beat eminem in a battle? Do they have more accolades or sales not that those matter. Can they freestyle like Em..Eminem rap rap about a light buld off his head for hours……Yall could front on that white stuff if you want but you can not deny his talent….and KRS is crazy for suggesting 50 could have written anything for Em….Please…………….

Best alive??? He’s definitely one guy that will be remembered. I have to agree with the person who said that there’s no such thing at #1. With how many great rappers have came over time, the best, greatest, #1 will never exist. The debate will go on for centuries after we leave.

In my opinion…there’s ones who will be remembered…and ones who won’t.

Eminem = Elvis; seriously, I’m not just saying that to hate. Elvis at his time was NOT the number 1 Rock and Roll dude, but yet he was number 1. Ridiculous thought. Eminem is NOT better than KRS, Jay Z, Nas, Rakim, Ghostface, Andre 3000, Scarface amongst quite a few others. Eminem actually ruined Hip Hop in the sense of battling. I went to a battle one time at this spot in Atlanta and these two cats squared off. Well, one kid ripped it and had a lot of ill shit to say THEN this kid got up there with his little Eminem flow saying wack shit and won the battle. I have not been back to that place again and that was at least three years ago. 85% of Eminems topics are about silly shit. Seriously. I understand why he sells and not being a way about it, just pointing out facts, he appeals to the Columbine, suburban white kid type of mentality talking about hating your mother and so on. What I’m saying is the truth and if you REALLY thought about it you would see.

BTW, the interviewer was great. He TRULY loves the culture and appreciates greatness. Here in the States, we don’t appreciate the culture and the greatness of the culture like other countries do. Big ups to duke doing the interview.

#24 ezl_oo hit it on the head, if a majority of the mc’s in your top 10 or 5 put em in their best rapper list how then can u go against their choice. in any craft if u are recognized by your peers in said craft, that is the biggest validation of contribution and success. jay-z, nas, jada, 50, krs-one, and fab just to name a few of the people i’m positive we can all agree know something about being a good mc and have all cosigned em as one of the best.
