I think they just don't want anyone stealing their steam, making money off dude for no reason and also harming potential sales for dude's actual release. You telling me if I take an artist's mixtape and put it on itunes, THEY will get sued? Hell no. It's illegal to profit off someone else's copyrighted material, which is why the person RELEASING the material (and therefore seeing $$$ off it) is the one who gets sued.
