And I agree that autotune needs to go and that he finally realizes it and stepped up to say so. But I just wish that the other people who declared this sentiment earlier (1-3 years ago) on the streets would have been credited for DECLARING the END of autotune before Jay-Z got all the credit. There have been many rappers/singers/supporters who cried for the end of autotune, but (again) it took Jay-Z for knuckleheads to listen I guess. Point 2: With all the trends and fads he was apart of in his early career (shiny suits, Hawaiian shirts, and whatnot) he needs to realize that he is a part of the older generation and that the game has to change, especially since it's no longer Timbs, FUBU, and Carhartt (when he came in) but is Hollister, American Eagle, and MAJOR designer names (Cavalli, LV, RL Purple Label, etc.). Part of me thinks that this is a decent track, but a greater part of me thinks that this track is from a man who is facing getting older and not wanting things to change as they naturally do. Kinda like how parents do to their kids when the generation shifts. Like I said, I respect him; I'm just not his dick rider. Mind you, only people trying to break into the mainstream and go commercial (Top 40) are using autotune, not people like the Foreign Exchange, Joe Budden, Jadakiss, and such.
