yo i dont know about all this bickering but straight up im a young dude and i personally have been listenin to hip hop/rap since 88 and i was 5 then! my first tape i owned thanks to my pops leavin it around had rakim,biz markie,whoodini,special ed,public enemy,ll cool j,grand master flash,big daddy cane etc>>! i know a thing or two about it and ive been argueing hiphop since middle school! i got mad love for authentic,classful,creative but skilled rap music and when i say notorious B.I.G. is the GOAT’S i mean that and ill die by that! the most skilled rappers ever to be and i mean skilled like no other in order is #1BIGGIE,JAY-Z,NAS,2PAC,BIG PUN,KOOL G RAP,BIG L,BIG DADDY KANE,RAKIM,GHOSTFACE KILLAH,T.I. AND SNOOP DOGGY DOGG!!!!!! AND LUARYN HILL IS THE MOST LYRICAL FEMALE EVER AND LIL KIM GOT RUNNER UP! even though biggie wrote some shit for her her post biggie albums were done by her and her last album got a 5 mic rating which i think was to much! should have gotten a 4 and half for NAKED TRUTH! So its not official damn why people hatin he probably would have picked a different top 5 on a different day everybody does that when they are put on the spot you say the first names that come to mind lol. nas is a legend and should be in everybodys top 5 tho. Snoop, Hov, nas, Pac and Big are the top 5.

I’m a Nas fan too, but lets face it, he has not been very consistent. Illmatic may be the best hip hop album of all time, but Nas has not been as consistent as you would expect. Its not crazy not to have him in your top 5. I personally wouldn’t have 3000 in my top 5 or even top 10, because even though his rap skills are top notch, you got to show me you can whole it down with at least a couple solo albums.
