In order for something to officially die people gotta stop talking about it. DOA is gonna become the ROA (resurrection of autotune) soon. I went to fabulous page and bam, even young jeezy is asked what he thinks. Let it die.

  4. Shut The Fuck Up!!!! Says:

Fabolous Is Was He’s Talking About, A Well-Rounded Rapper. He Could Make Club Records, He Could Make Records For The Ladies, He Could Make That Street Gully Shit, That Political Consience Shit, That Nigga I Got More Money Than You Shit (LOL), Even A Comedic Record But He Still Adds That Street Gul;y Shit To It (Ex. Jokes On You Feat The Clipse). Dude Is One Of My Favorite Rappers. Most Underated Rapper Off All Time… Wordplay Is Mind Boggling, Punchlines Are Hard, He Could Story Tell, Flow Is Crazy. Ya Need To Take A Second Look At The Dude Music And Rank Him Among The Elite. We Need a Track Like Breathe Or Cant Deny It On Loso’s Way Nigga Dont Let New York Down.

  5. Dee Says:

    Fab is right.

  6. PIGGY ROSS AKA SUPPORTER OF THE WAR ON THUGS™ Says:

I THINK IF FABOULOUS CAN GET OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE HE CAN DELIVER A VERY SUCCESSFUL ALBUM

  7. JerseyCityStandUp Says:

When rap city went off the air, more bullsh!t videos took over the air ways

  8. umm.. Says:

    incarcerate man b(itch)

  9. Jay-Mall$ Says:

I agree a 100% with my dude Fab. When he reefers to media outlets, he is talking about the radio, the MTV’s, and the blogs (E.g. RealTalkNy) Mostly the radio though…. lol! No matter what you play on the Radio or on the TV, if u play it long enough, people are going to start liking it! Prime examples the “Stanky Leg Boys’ or “Super Man, Soulja boy” or “Chicken Noodle Soup” or “Araab Money” or Lil boosie or Hurricane Chris, or Ron Browz, or DJ Webstar, or Yung Berg, or Mr. Icey Gucci Mane, or OJ Da juicmane, Or Etc. I Can Go On For Days….

  10. CaliRepresenter Says:

When has rap ever had balance?

  11. Dee Says:

    late 80’s/mid 90’s

Acts from NWA to ATCQ to Rakim to UMC’s To Public Enemy….
    shall I go on?

  12. NAPOLEON Says:

i think fab is right. u talk bout somebody in a comfort zone. what zone do think the soulja boy, & gs boys, & these other losers stay in.

the media is part of the problem too. mtv, no video shows at all anymore. bet, just killed “RAP CITY” & replaced it with “THE DEAL” which comes on at like 1 or 2 in the morning WTF, ANYBODY REMEMBER “HIT LIST” & “MIDNIGHT LOVE”. ALL THAT’S LEFT IS 106 & PARK, AND IT IS NOWHERE NEAR WHAT IT USED TO BE.

MORE WELL ROUNDED RAPPERS NEED TO COME BACK OR SOMETHING. RAPPERS LIKE FABOLOUS, JAY-Z, DMX, PAC, BIG, KANYE, DIDDY, & MANY MORE. REMEMBER THE DIVERSE TRACKS THESE DUDES USED TO MAKE.

THE LOVE RECORDS, THE PARTY JOINTS, THE ANTHEMS, THE STREET RECORDS, THE MEANING/THOUGHT/PURPOSE RECORDS.

EXAMPLE. DMX. “HOW’S IT GOIN DOWN”, “I MISS YOU FT FAITH EVANS”, “GOTTA GO HOME”
“PARTY UP (IN HERE)” RUFF RYDERS ANTHEM”, “WHAT THEY REALLY WANT”
“AYO KATO” “A MINUTE FOR YOUR SON” “WHAT THEY REALLY WANT”
WOW HE HAD MORE HITS THAN ALOT OF ARTISTS WILL EVER SEE

  13. JerseyCityStandUp Says:

    Hip-hop is extremely unbalanced….

The radio will play “turn my swag on” by Soulja Boy 80 times a day, but can’t play 1 joint by Jadakiss, Talib Kweli, Common, or Fabolous. It’s like the radio’s leave out talent but plays dance and snap music to entertain the 11 and 12yr olds. There are adults that also like to turn into the radio every once in a while. I was in New Jersey visiting a few summers ago and hot 97 was playing “get em” by JR.Writer, but if you go to North Carolina, Jr. Writer is unknown even though he has a nice fan base, they would rather deny lyricism for foolish dance songs and that is what keeps hip-hop and coasts segregated. I’m not knocking the south because they are doing their thing but they NEVER!!! play anything from the east or west coast unless someone like T.I., Wayne, or Rick Ross is on a track and its messed up.

  14. JerseyCityStandUp Says:

    tune*

  15. fuck u Says:

    shut the fuck up

  16. 2Words, Swallow it Says:

Yeah blame the media. NOE’s video came out and RTNY still hasn’t put it up.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wex2v508×8

these niggaz put what they feel like it. the media fucked up the music not the artists.

  17. Kayiness06 Says:

I agree with JerseyCity on that one man. I’m in Texas and they don’t play any Ice Cube, Nas, Snoop, or Game, only when My Life feat. Lil Wayne was released. It’s pretty annoying when we get catered to just a small portion of hip-hop and that’s why I never listen to the radio or know any of these new artists. I just buy albums of artists I like because radio stations dictate what people SHOULD hear.

  18. Kayiness06 Says:

That’s bullshit 2Words. Once artists saw that they could make millions like alot of the artists who did it for music or expression, everyone and their momma wanted to be a rapper.

  19. noelle Says:

So everybody is just getting all the exclusive Adidas shit without me? Ok

  20. booooooooooooo Says:

Hip Hop sucks man ! shit is soooooooooo gay now… you know when Soldier Boy and Drake are considered HOT a music form is going DOWN !!!

Who actually listen to this crap anymore…

It’s all about electronica now bb

  21. noelle Says:

    “FA-BO-LO,US sing 2 me ma”

  22. noelle Says:

“I be like: la la La La..lalalalala damn!”

  23. mm Says:

I totally agree that the media deserves a large part of the blame for the stagnant position that hiphop is in today…………..

…………but not until we acknowledge that there are too many people in hiphop today.

Somewhere along the line, the fans got the dumbass idea that this hiphop art is easy to do.
So now everybody wants to be a rapper, every side, every city, every hood, every street got a million wanna be rappers
so obviously the media gonna push the rappers who they feel will be a safe investment

  24. bravo Says:

  25. noelle Says:

    +la*

  26. GBilly Says:

I’ll tell you why you can’t hear any real music on the radio anymore…one word PAYOLA son in TX all I hear is Same Major Label Song Then Local Ringtone Rap(Save that shit for the clubs a nigga dont even wanna dance in the club cuz the songs is played out 80x per hour) These major labels push and throw cash to radio stations so you can hear they artists music…Music is bonkers here man Loso speaks the truth IMO he’s one of the very few holdin up NY right now on a Commercial Level

  27. Kayiness06 Says:

I agree with you mm. I said the same thing along those lines.

  28. ?????????????? Says:

IM HERE THOUGH NOW BABY!!! FUCK ALL YA INCLUDING FABO…COKE ADDICT…THATS THE ONLY REASON WHY HE CAME BACK OUT WITH SOME MUSIC TO MAKE MONEY AND RE-UP…HE BOUT OT LEAVE AGAIN..!!!

  29. ROCO DANIELS Says:

I couldn’t agree with you more. I’m from the “A” and I don’t like half of the sh– that I here on the radio. WTF happen to the real emcees?

    Atl, GA

  30. LADy L0C Says:

i L0VE FAb0L0Us As F0R the rape game i dont really have an opinion on it i dislike auto tune cause in all honesty it sounds a hot mess i think kanye had it and it went down from there (except BLAME iT). To tell the truth i barely even keep up with the music anymore cause its eally all the same songs that teach a damn dance and dudes wearin skinny asz jeans and stuff is not cute i mean dont they realize a woman dont want a man that wears tighter jeans that her? im only 19 buht shyt i have to agree with NAPOLEON (12) DMX is my favorite rapper of all time the older dudez used to spit hot shyt we cant really say that about most rappes now a days

  31. outsidethematrix Says:

Man hiphop is at its gayest point right now….Here is some examples.

Lil Wayne kissed a man in the mouth and its like it never happened..
Niggas talking about it aint tricking if ya got it…
Singing thugs…Dancing thugs….Mohawks, Tight shirts and jeans…pink hats..
    autotune raps…..
You got motherfuckers liking rappers because of their swag and not their skill….
If you are a fan of all the above…..Then you are probably gay too lol..
Sorry…I hate 2 be an asshole but whats real is real…Welcome to the ERA of the gay rapper…
