Lil Wayne has a rock album?

  7. County Of Kings Says:

thats was actually a pretty good interview, yea county of kings said that
but lets keep it 100 fif. you tryin to tell me that your mixtape “war angel” is more creative than kanye doin 808’s???? it was wack but it was still creative, just the concept of it alone was creative, 808 and heartbreak- (sayin i’m heartbroken over hiphop so now i’m doin r&b)
i wont defend wayne cuz i’m not a fan of his
how is 50 doin war angel creative when thats the lane he’s always in ? not being afraid to step outside your lane and taking a chance on music that ppl might not like is being creative. 50 aint creative at all. but atleast he understands that kanye is a different dude from a different background so we expect him to do different shit.
he keep talkin bout competing with these artist….who exactly is he competing with
kanye said he was gonna start singing cuz these rap niggas aint got no competition for him so he might as well sing.
50 is not kanye competition musically, only financially, musically its a slaughter, a landslide, highway robbery

  8. noelle Says:

    I thinj it’s Kanye

  9. Smooth Da Hustler Says:

How was 808 so creative when all he did was sing into an auto-tune, remake other peoples songs and jack beats?

  10. ace Says:

im waitin on dat wayne to come out..i already heard sum of it..n its good…so keep on hatin

  11. 2Words, Swallow it Says:

Lol at “Subtle Shots At Kaney West & Lil Wayne?” A nigga can’t make a comment with out others making it a big deal.

  12. dave Says:

kanye gave it all he ave with that album. im glad he changing back to rap again though. his fan base wud ave left him

  13. hiphop&depression Says:

Wayne and Baby already said The Rebirth is not a rock album. It jus has some rock songs in it. Stop Haten

  14. dave 2 Says:

cosign all day my brother. jah bess

  15. CAN IT! Says:

I agree, I said relitively the same thing earlier on this site, I’m tired of these “look what I can do” type rappers like little wayne just because you can go into another genre dosent mean you should or that it’s the best choice.

  16. CAN IT! Says:

By the way anyone can AUTOTUNE, ANYONE! Check youtube

  17. Chula Vista Says:

I just don’t get this dude; why he’s always talking like he owns Hip Hop? 50 was the artist of the hour a couple of years ago, then he got knocked out by The Game and outselled by Kanye.
Now he’s shootin at Weezy, cause he became a real superstar with a succesfull crew, while he’s struggling to stay on the screen till the end of the decade

  18. pedro navajas Says:

lol at chula vista …..when fif gets on the screen is hard to get that nigga off it….and this is just the start ..with some mixtape when the album drops it’s going to be glorious

  19. blackastronauts.com@gmail.com Says:

YO….FAM IS DEF’ WILDIN’…FIF JUS’ MAD THAT NO1 IS FEELIN’ HIM RIGHT NOW…AND HASN’T BEEN FEELIN’ HIME 4 AWHILE NOW….CHECK ME OUT blackastronaut.blogspot.com

  20. CAN IT! Says:

@14 Chula vista: lol i second pedro #15, none the less his name is already cemented in American Pop culture whether he’s on the screen or not. On a side note during election day I caught the morning WORLD NEWS (Today Show) and the had a special segement begging the question who will be a bigger Pop Icon and have a bigger effect on the younger generation in the next five years (Barack Obama or 50cent) so I don’t think he’ll have any relavancy problems anytime soon

  21. Ezee-T Says:

    Cosign!

  22. SmokinAces Says:

I won’t say I totally disagree (shocking!) but I will say it does take a level of creativity to jump into a whole other genre and make it work and STILL mix it with the style you’re known for. I think 50 should be more aware of the music he puts out and stop trying, sorry, continuing to use beef or poking at other artists who are not saying anything about him to get people talking. We seen this before Fif. What we haven’t seen in a while was you come out with worthy music. You can do better than what you have.

  23. SmokinAces Says:

And smooth da hustler, who beats did he jack? He gave proper credit to everyone who contributed to the project. That’s not called jacking, it’s called collaboration. Of course in this send beats over the internet times, you probably don’t know what that means… One point I missed, 50 has never been open the way Drake or Ye have been on records. He always been the bulletproof G-Unit war angel (pun intended). So where he gets that he’s done what they are doing is puzzling to me.

  24. d Says:

i think all rappers should switch to rock ..real talk

  25. Smooth Da Hustler Says:

@ “smokin sausages” weather he”s jackin beats or sampling, it’s still not all that creative.
