  12. Real Shit Says:

HIP HOP is not dead. the problem is, people want the “commercial artist” to do Hip Hop, and the “hip hop artist” to be more commercial. If a “hip hop” artist say he is “Nicer”(not a word)
than your favorite “commercial” artist, People will defend the “commercial” by saying the “hip hop” artist is not “relevant” because he doesnt sell more albums.
This is the “thinking” that fucked HIP HOP up.

There are alot of real “hip hop” artist out. We just shit on them because they not selling a mill in the first week.

Hip Hop can only “die” if we dont know the difference between “hip Hop” and “commercial”

  13. I_luv_pumz Says:

Its funny how people like to mention, hey ive been since, hey I love NY, SOUTH, WEST, and IM no hater but Real Talk! STFU! HIP HOP has always been alive til one NEW YORKER said It was dead cause NY cant seem to keep up with it. HIP HOP ain’t Dead your Ears is just getting to damn old! ALL that Shit you fed your ears with Traditional Hip Hop just made it hard for to live with the Present!

BUT whatever.. still some classic shit. DMX murdered them years!

  21. Back Out Says:

#17 veraci0us. You have to go to World Star HipHop or Hip Hop DX. They stay on point. I come here just to bullshit and fuck with niggas. Are you from London? I think we talked about Swag weed. Niggas over here dont know Swag means dirt in Europe

  22. syndicate Says:

    @ Elroy

My dude… You might be right about my ears getting to old. i aint lying’ to ya, not tryina prove nuthin either but no need to cuss at da kid. Like you said it is mos def sum shit out there. sum of these new artist like Joell, Saigon and sum others i be lookin up for their next shit, RELIGiOUSLY. still i just dont think music now is as hype or as much quantity of high quality hip-hop as back then wit this kinda music u dig?

But LMAO, i am 27 kinda old huh?

    Oh and @#12Real Shit
Remember that this WAS the “Commercial” music and THESE were sum of the “Commercial” Artists back then.

  23. Real Shit Says:

#22 no doubt. You are right. But they didnt make their music for “commercial” success. They made it for “Hip Hop”. It was just accepted as “commercial”. If you know what i mean.

Ice Cube once said he didnt go to the “mainstream” the “mainstream” came to him.
I hope you can get where Im coming from.
And dont feel bad.Im an “old head” too. (mid 30’s)
    From Michigan
Grew up on Esham, Ice Cube, Scarface, KRS, Rakim.

  24. veraci0us Says:

    @ back out

Yeah mans from south london still, yeah i remember that swag convo lol

  25. veraci0us Says:

rtny u need to keep ur blog updates diverse interms of not just focusin on a selectd few artist. Then u wil get the recognition u believe u deserve from publications such as vibe. For what dmx has achieved in the game you could call him a hiphop legend so its a shame u decided not to waste time on him.
