Eminem’s, “Relapse,” First Week Sales Are In
Eminem’s return to rap, “Relpase,” debuts number 1 with 608k records sold. Billboard reports:”Collectively, his six albums have sold 34 million in the U.S., making him the biggest selling hip-hop act in the SoundScan era (1991-present).” Method Man & Redman sold 63k while Busta Rhymes debuted with 59k records sold.
I wasn’t feeling Eminem’s singles but he moves units no matter what.

Why didn’t you include that? Becuase Lil’ Wayne and them dudes don’t sell international?
Over 600k first week in the states and around 900k worldwide. Just cause your favorite rapper isn’t relevant worldwide doesn’t mean you don’t count those numbers. Over 75% of his promotion was done overseas.

Eminem is back. Eminem- Relapse is what I called a classic album. I said it!! Eminem- Relapse album is a classic. Dr. West (skit) was funny with that distortion voice trying to get Marshall to take the pills, he refuse it, in his nightmare. ‘3 a.m.’ is physco, fire, he killed it. Same Song & Dance could be a joint for party people to dance to. I agree with #13. ‘Medicine Ball’ is tough, the beat is good, feel his flow, the 3rd verse was funny with the Christopher Reeves part. Paul (skit) was funny as hell. Stay Wide Awake is so dark. Old Time’s Sake feat. Dr. Dre was like for old time sake, the track is good. Beautiful is very interesting track. Crack A Bottle feat. Dr. Dre & 50 Cent top off the chart on downloading, I-pod. I think that song makes you wanna turn up the volume to jam this song. Three headed monsters did their verses. Overall, Eminem- Relapse is a classic. For the record, he is 20 x better than Lil’ Weezy and that so-called The Carter 3. Everything that Lil’ Wayne accomplish in 2008 up ’til The Grammy Awards, I would put an astrek (*) on that because he cheats his way to the top from stolen swag from Jay-Z, Clipse, stolen rhymes, ad-libs, etc. etc. etc. Lil Wayne and the rest of these fake ass so-called hip hop artists are done, finished!! Just like the economy, Hip Hop will gradually stabilize to its right form as it should be.
As a matter fact, Method Man & Redman- Blackout! 2 is good even though it does sounded like back in ‘98, ‘99, and in year 2000. But they are relevent, still who they are since day 1. Their ablum is, too, a classic. On that track BO 2 (Intro) they said about and it goes, ‘Redman Method Man/ back in the building/ we can ship a gold, f*ck one million/. Now that shows a good mature side of hip hop or something.
Busta Rhymes- Back On My B.S. are you kiddin’ me #8? Primarily who gives a f*ck about album sales? His ablum is in my opinion a classic. He did called himself a King of the Classics. His CD is tough, he is back on his b.s. ‘nough said.

lol the hate is strong in here…but anyways, good job for Em having the most sales this year by far, but u can really tell that most of these sales are because Eminem is and always will be a household name. His buzz wasnt that great at all and his singles werent chart topping so im really convinced that he sold alot due to who he is. C’mon, just like #75 said, if anybody would have done this same album talkin about him suckin dick, it would have been OVER for them, just like yall bash everyone else for the shit they say or do…but yet Em gets a pass and is now the reason why hip hop isnt dead lmao..u people are a trip. Ok so MTV didn’t put Eminem in the 10 hottest mcs this year. His album dropped at number 1 with over 600k sales. Drake who was voted 3rd has not yet, i believe, dropped a album as a single performer. Weezy voted in at number 2 rebirth only moved about 175k units. And as of today Eminem’s relapse is at about 1mil 800k sells which is 4 spots about Jay z who was voted in at number one. Not to mention that Eminem got about 60 percent of the public’s votes for hottest mc on mtv. So in light im saying fuck mtv. And didnt they fucking put birdman on there??? he’s also been on alot of god damn lists for worlds worst fucking rapper.
