Eminem reemerges, but is his moment lost?
Whoever his audience might be, Eminem will have to come up with more interesting material to command their attention. While the recent songs might tell us the kind of TV he’s been watching, none gives a glimpse into what he’s actually been feeling during this recording hiatus. And he’s had no shortage of emotional triggers: dealing with addiction, the seemingly final dissolution of his marriage to the infamous Kim, and the death of his close friend Proof. He’s clearly done a lot of living and learning, yet that isn’t apparent in the rhymes we’ve heard to date. The cringe-worthy Eminem has resurfaced, but not the clever wordsmith willing to display vulnerability and dig for emotion. Only the album cover, an image of the rapper made out of a mosaic of pills, hints at the demons he has previously illuminated.

I too have been a massive Eminem fan, because I really loved the way he worded his songs. He used to be funny, creative, lyrical…but honestly his recent releases DO SUCK.

idk, i feelin this song. Crack a bottle, We Made You, and 3 am are not bad songs neither…may not get played alot on the radio, but are not bad songs. Hip-Hop so far this year has had some repetitive and scattery songs so i ain’t trippin if i hear somethin different and pretty soild-base every now and then.
I always like em’s punchlines anyway and that hasn’t changed too far to the left unlike his delivery tho, so i can’t be mad.

A friend of my friend out in L.A. said The Game was on the radio and claims that The Game said he would diss Rick Ross if he dissed Eminem again. According to rumors, The Game said he’s not concerned with 50 Cent and Ross going at him, but he wants Ross to leave Em and Dre out of it. Now…this sounds interesting to me. Also, I heard that Rick Ross “begged” him to be on the remix of “Mafia Music” and diss 50 Cent. Now, Game was on it, but didn’t really go at 50 like that. I also heard Game had some unsavory things to say about Ross’ C.O. past. Now,OK this was pretty classic i think that this song is like before,it was better before but just becouse he was singing about he does not give a fuck,but one this one he tries to do what he already did before and its good stop hating i hate the voice too but still.
And about 3 am, the voice is stupid but the video is like old stuff exactlly.
But….i heard that the accent will only be on 6 track and thats very good.

Yo, Eminem feat Dr.Dre – ‘Old Times Sake’ is hott, Dr.Dre sets the tone on the record and then eminem comes in with some lyrical fire; That accent is whats up, it goes with the beat it sounds like the eminem we heard in the past, ya’ll blowing this “accent” out of proportion. If ya’ll don’t think Eminem didn’t come correct on this track, then you are too stuck on, slim shady of 1999 he’s not the same rapper and if he came out sounding the exact same you know what you would all be saying, “WEVE HEARD THIS BEFORE” he hasn’t revolutionized with the times… 3 am is another hott song too, it’s a darker slim shady get use to it….

I love both 3am and Old Times Sake, the lyrical content and production of these songs are brilliant and remind me of the Marshall Mathers LP, don’t write him off just because of the Re-Up and Encore. He has clearly had some time off and worked at creating the magic on records that we all love him for. People are only having a going at him because thats what happen when your at the top of your game.

If you were a teenager when em dropped his best LPs, MM and The Em Show, then you’ve got to be happy after the debacle that Encore was.
