Everyone is saying dat he only sold 43k and dat sucks for someone who pretty much came back n dropped an album 2 or 3 months lata with no promotion, no push, no commercials, n just internet promotion dats pretty good. not to mention he recouped all of that on an indy label in his 1st weeks sales alone so he was really smart on this… A harlem hustla I cant at all knock it. But cam , the dips, ghostface n d-block the only ny rappers gettin any real mention besides jay z everyone can talk about the bubble gum raps all you want at the end of the day if you listen to cam ..n b reak down what he says cam be spittin sum shit …dat nigga is nice n crime pays was 1 of the best albums out this year besides blue print 3 and The Last Kiss.

I think Cams real push for sales is gettin pushed back to the summer anyways, he gonna put out the bakery movie as a bonus when he re-releases tha album in like july or some shit, said that ina interview b4 it even dropped…

Yall cats sound rediculous. Yeah Cam should have dropped the album in March…but lets be honest…who cares about sales? There was a time when if a cat only did a 100k his first week..he did horrible. Now its a blessing. You have to remember ppl, Cam had no major promotion, no major videos, no major single, and don’t forget he was on an independent label. Lowkey…I don’t think Cam care. He did it for NY and that shit was straight fire. Plus I think he wanted to show he could sale more than Jimmy did. Jimmy was on a major label, major promotion, had momentum from his last album, his video for Pop Champagne was on 106 and park countdown all the fucking time, he did a play with Dame Dash…..and he managed to sell like 42k. He is the true flop if you ask me. Besides the 5 wack ass skits, and three tracks, Crime Pays was lyrically, a great album. He didn’t come with any dumb shit. And half of you haters who was talking shit, most likely yall don’t even buy albums, so why yall care what he did and talking shit? Cam don’t care. He didn’t spend any money. Its straight profit!!!!!!
