There are alot of black mexicans in mexico and are “NOT” considerd black they are just dark skinned. Go to india and you’ll see tons of black indians without having an ounce of african in them.

Latin does not describe a race like Q said.

Black people who are born in Latin countries are still Black, in fact most of them got there the same way Black Americans got to America. Some of you are lighter for the same reasons some Black Americans are lighter, due to rape and interracial mixing. The only difference is you speak Spanish. There is nothing so different about that.

Also, more Black Americans are mixed with Native blood than a lot of Latins claim to be (excluding the South American continent). There weren’t very many left on those Islands after the massacres occurred. The facts are some of you are White, some of you are Black, and some of you are of mixed races, you just happened to speak Spanish instead of English and your culture is more of African roots.

Question: If I had my child on the island of say Puerto Rico, are you telling me my child would be different from me somehow?

Hmm…Latino is just word to describe ppl from latin american countries it’s not a race. There are millions of black latinos so you don’t make any sense whatsoever. Mariah’s dad is a black Venezuelan (Black latino) so yeah as far as race she’s half black.
