#3 – A player has to retire and stay retired for five years before he’s eligible to be voted into the Hall of Fame. Jordan would’ve gone in earlier, but when he came out of retirement it pushed his eligibility back another five years.

lol Nope! there’s is no greatest of all time… greatest of 90-98 but I’ll still ride with the man who can play 5 position (at the NBA level and WELL) and was ALWAYS known for making his teammates better… thats what the games all about!!!

Congrats MJ!!!! It’s about time they gave you that, they tried him he should of been given the hall of fame since he retired in 98. I respect that man to the fullest he is the greatest player of all time of the 90’s era.

@ 2cents are you crazy? from 90-98? you must be 20 and or under…people swear that Jordan wasn’t winning MVps or scoring titles or became defensive player of the year…before winning his first ring. MJ is the GOAT not of his time of all time. He revolutionized the game…name another player that has done what he does.
All these Kobe’s and Lebron can’t compare. Jordan has to be the most competitive player who’s ever laced a pair of sneakers..in the NBA..the numbers speak for them selves.

Kobe has 13 years in the league 1 MVP wtf?? how can anyone compare – I don’t fucking get it.
Kobe scores against bums but never scored 55+ against Duncan, Garnett, Pierce, or elite players. MJ hated to do it with bums he made sure he scorched the best…Larry Bird, Isaiah Thomas, Magic JOhnson, Dominique Wilkins, Patrick Ewing, Dr.J, Chuck Barkley etc…not fucking Raptors or non defensive knicks or non defensive Dallas…WTF is wrong with people.
Back then they didn’t have 3 seconds; for those that don’t know what the means is that you could clutter the paint and just close line anyone who drives the lane. Now that’s off which enables anyone like Tony Parker or AI to drive the lane. Eg. that is why Dwyane Wade looks like a star..in other words it allows all those AND1 moves that we love so much.
Some inarticulate bum asked me yesterday in the gym if Jordan was in his prime would he score that much against todays players…? I was like you make it seem that Jordans prime was in like 1920..haha..the dude was scorching dudes while in the wizards..still at 40…so what does that tell you. For the record Jordan’s prime was 1984-1998. Cause since he came in his rookie year he’s been destroying the league year after year…look at his numbers..and get back to me. In believe there was a year where he shot 54% or so from the field…WTF???? how the hell you shoot 54% as a shooting guard…tnot even Tim Duncan shoots that good and generally centers and power forwards shoot over 50% because they are so close to the basket…
Let me stop…man…ya’ll are clowns if you think this guy is not the G.O.A.T. whatever to each his own opinion.
