Who cares? The store owner is probably just trying to appeal to the people in the hood by naming something after Obama. I think it’s probably just a coincidence that he owns a fried chicken spot. Anyway why is it such a big deal that black people and fried chicken are associated with each other? If you look at Italian people they’re always associated with Pizza and shit. Is fried chicken really that bad of a food to be associated with?

They could’ve showed their support of Obama by putting up a poster or picture inside the joint ……. they didn’t have to jump out the window to try to appease to the people of that hood ….. people was buying their chicken before the name change. that name change ain’t gonna get folks buying even more chicken from them now. I think cats is looking into it way too hard. I think they renamed the spot just because they admire the dude. And if they intentionally did that in efforts to gain more customers, it just goes to show how dumb they think people are in that area of Brooklyn. Lets see if the people in the area just boycott the spot, or do something ignorant.

Living overseas in Asia, I seen the Obama name put at cell phone stores, karaoke rooms, and dance clubs. Does that mean all black people like to sing, dance, and buy ringtones?

P.S If any of yall readers ever visited Arab countries (which I doubt) they have just as many chicken spots out there. Would it be offensive if they put his name on one of those?

This is an outrage and a complete buffoonery of our President. We should call in Al Sharpton and start a nationwide campaign to have that sign removed immediately. They should be ashamed of themselves. They do make some of the best fried chicken however. You all should go there whenever your’e in brooklyn.
