130k isnt a solid #. Its not bad but it aint solid. I think anything around 200k the first week is solid. Its a good album so if he get on tour and Def Jam keep promoting it he can go gold.

To be honest, I think it should have been way more than 130k..but if u look at it, he wasnt really promoted as much as everyone else…Definitely not enough radio play and with more and more people downloadin peoples shit off the internet will do that to ya anyways…its actually kinda amazing Wayne sold that much considering the fact just about everything leaked months before, but then again, Wayne spits out more tracks on mixtapes than anyone. Its not fair to artists to compare their sales to his..130k is decent for Jada in 1st week considering he doesnt have that high volume buzz that he deserves. He’ll do better as weeks pass.

Majors do buy records that’s a fact owned a distro company. Did they buy some of jadas units more than likely.the single was not strong in over half the markets. But much success to jada’s team they had a strong campaign. Labels buy and flood product to appear to have demand and move more units. The reason; for publishing, tours merc and a stronger fanbase for remixes bside and other releases for the artist and others on the roster

i have friends that work at def jam they dont buy albums. its all an urban legend. jada told u to download first so u can hear the quality of the material he was presenting and then had the confidence to say that u would buy it after and he was right thats way he sold 134k because of his marketing plan and this is without a real pop single cant stop me is just an amazing song incredible production the only problem i have is that there r to many features but jada kills literally every track give him a month or two the word of mouth will help move his album oh and they shipped less than 170k copies because of low expectations

co-sign the way people act I would of swore that nobody ever heard of companies buying their own CD’s. They don’t understand how the music industry works, but swear they know everything.
