This right here was the most indept and articulate interviews I have ever heard any rapper give. Shout out to Lupe Fiasco for being able to sit down with Dr. Cornell West and do this. This was extremely insightful. Gucci Mane would’ve been stuttering on the first question. Lupe held it down and was not only ablle to build with the good doctor, but he was also able to make him stop in his tracks at certain points.

#3. Definitely agree with you on. I was really feeling him around the 17 minute mark when he talks about 4 seconds of lying on an album out of the 60 minutes on the album, he will be leading people astray. Those 4 seconds if he lied, he has led the 1 million people astray by lying while they are listening to the album.

That was real deep right there and that show his music is really pure.

You got to love Lupe, one of the truly greats, love his point about albums and lying because 95% of rappers are lies they say what people want to hear mostly I do drugs, I’m a killer look at my whips etc; Great interview and I liked his point about the world

lupe is a poser – so what if that song was a story – right after it came out there was lupe on the front cover of billboard “posing” on a skateboard in soho in the middle of cobble stone street where you couldnt roll even if you tried…..stop sucking djick, the only reason people think he is good is cause there aint no one else out there worth a shit…
