Hes a hall of famer, not really elite in the league right now. But you cant ignore his body of work. I think he could play along any team with a big point guard. Someone 6’4″ or bigger would be ideal. That allows him to play the 2 guard but still come back and guard point guards on D. And he could play more passing lanes.
Maybe dallas with Jason Kidd, but then that gives them an even older back court. Not sure how tall Jose Calderon is but I could see him getting embraced in Toronto. If all else fails say fuck a ring and go to golden state, they dont play D anyway. He wont retire without making a come back though. He love the game too much and wont couch. Iverson is a perennial loser and he needs to retire. He’s one of the most overrated players to ever play the game. He’s point guard sized but isn’t a team leader and a horrible shooter–he’s a team killer period and needs to dominate the ball in order to be successful. Larry Brown had the perfect system set up for him, built around his skills and they had a nice run but those days are over with. Iverson hang it up, you’ll be nothing more than a 34 year old role player. Teams are better without you. Numbers don’t lie… The Pistons are better without you and the Nuggets are better with Billups.
