I’ve come to the realization that music is like a movie and music is entertainment.
None of the above guys sell dope or “trap”. Why are they rapping about it? If they really did trap, they wouldn’t put it on a track and expose it to the whole world unless they are that stupid, but these artist are sign to major labels, so you better believe they are most likely ain’t selling, but they might be involved in the process.
Seriously, the lines that the people are spitting are at most maybe 70% true and the other 30% is fabricated or over embellished. Rapping about jewelry, cars, talking shit, beefing with people and selling dope is what sells and that is the formula to sell. I don’t want to say rap is a major influence on why people do this, but it does have some influence on the way people thinking.
Even lines like “Grabbin my .44, headed to the block, waiting to shoot a *****.”
People in the hood or in high crime rate neighborhoods blame the cops, but it’s actually the culture that is embedded in the minds of the people. The music they listen to, the people they hang out with. It’s the environment.
Once we change our environment, people can stop blaming others and stop being statistics.
Tip a clown for collaborating with CB
And he would of got a better hook from Trey Songz or somebody else with talent
