Oh ya, everyone who keeps saying lyrical skill should over shadow a persons background really doesn’t listen to hip hop. If some one is rhyming about something they know nothing about and doesn’t admit that they don’t no anything about it other than what they see, then they automatically cancel themselves out of that type of hip hop. Ross can rhyme but he needs to stopo telling his friends stories and tell his own. Perfect example, NAS. Nas to me is one of the best, if not the best rappers of all time but after he stopped telling the stories of his friends his career when to hell.
