Real Talk he was better of doing a video for, “Crack A Bottle.” This is so far the worst single of the year, hopefully Eminem comes correct on the next single.
Update: After watching the video the song makes more sense. There are a few funny moments but over nothing special.

I don’t know about ya’ll, but this beat is fire! Eminem gives you a few laughs as usual (he’s alter ego voice is a bit annoying but whatever). The chick in the chorus has a killer voice that hooks you in (is Em just f**kin wit’ us when he says “Jessica Simpson, sing the chorus” at the start???). The way it mellows out at 2:18 and hits back with a fart noise at 2:35… Now that’s Dre’s production and Em’s comical genius in full flight!
Most of of the ppl (most not all) go on their first impression, comparing it to other tracks and so on and they don’t really try to give the song a chance. Look at it this way, who else besides Dre and Em would have the balls to come out with a track like this and make it sound decent???
I ain’t telling ya’ll to like the track because of those reasons, but this track could bring in fans who never really listened Eminem before (but you’d have to be living under a rock for the last 10 years to not know who Eminem is). Hip Hop is growing in all sorts of shapes and sizes, pulling new ppl into the genre every day. If you can’t grasp that… Then you were never a true fan of Hip Hop in the first place…

I don’t know about ya’ll, but this beat is fire! Eminem gives you a few laughs as usual (he’s alter ego voice is a bit annoying but whatever). The chick in the chorus has a killer voice that hooks you in (is Em just f**kin wit’ us when he says “Jessica Simpson, sing the chorus” at the start???). The way it mellows out at 2:18 and hits back with a fart noise at 2:35… Now that’s Dre’s production and Em’s comical genius in full flight!
Most of of the ppl (most not all) go on their first impression, comparing it to other tracks and so on and they don’t really try to give the song a chance. Look at it this way, who else besides Dre and Em would have the balls to come out with a track like this and make it sound decent???
I ain’t telling ya’ll to like the track because of those reasons, but this track could bring in fans who never really listened Eminem before (but you’d have to be living under a rock for the last 10 years to not know who Eminem is). Hip Hop is growing in all sorts of shapes and sizes, pulling new ppl into the genre every day. If you can’t grasp that… Then you were never a true fan of Hip Hop in the first place…

After seeing the video now, I can understand why Eminem would drop a song like this.
One part is because everyone has a fascinating with celebrities and Em uses that formula to make song about celebs. I mean RTNY is a blog about celebrities and artist, so it’s no different. Em is trying to stir up feelings and get attention for the song.

At first, at about 1 pm on the day of the video release, I watched and listened to Em lay his wits on this one, however I think due to the much anticipated release of an Em song, the song’s quality was overshadowed, because one would expect something imaginary, but to everyone on realtalkny; it really just requires listening to this song for about 5 times, and you find out that it really is a hit, not at first glance but in the long run.
