Alright…Alright….sorry Asher. you aren’t as wack as I originally stated ……but I stand by my points. First let me say YES, Asher has some very good points. But white rappers and black rappers, purple, brown, and pink rappers…whatevers…I see what he’s saying. BUT I dont even think its that easy…like if all the rappers gave all their money to Africa that would fix anything??

Really, aside from your Jay-Z’s, Lil Waynes, 50 Cents, Eminems, T.I.’s…….aside FROM them and maybe a few others…there are barely any millionaires in the rap game….and def no billionaires. Rap sales are plunging, in Feb 09 top 200 billboard albums there were only 13 hip-hop/rap albums on there…!!!!!! Remember when it used to be the top 13 were rap. Read articles by people like Wendy Day, she knows…the fame and glitz of the rap industry is mostly an image…its not real. So how can rappers fix anything when many rappers are struggling to keep their careers afloat?

Again, I do realize this is a publicity stunt on Ashers part…which makes sense for him. I hope things go well for you Asher. but please remember…nobody…I repeat…nobody in the rap game has billions of dollars…not one person. and it would take trillions to make a dent in Africa. One way all Americans could help is to not buy diamonds, bc even ones that supposedly don’t come from conflict still mostly do, but thru back door channels so it appears legit. The rapid removal of natural resources with no money going to the people of the countries is one of the biggest problems Africa has….and who’s responsible??? I will leave that argument amongst yourselves.
