Asher Roth Releases A Statement About His,” Nappy Headed Hoes,” Comment & Talks About Black Rappers

As of late, statements I’ve made have been stirring up much controversy and speculation. It is in my best interest that I feel I should address these instances personally and specifically. Truth: I am 23 year old imperfect human being who’s world is drastically changing around him. Facebook is no longer for just me and my friends. Twitter is no longer solely for the watchful eye of my parents. A new responsibility and voice has been placed upon me and is being heard well beyond my immediate peers. I’ve been receiving a crash course on perspectives and a very real sensitivity that exists and is an essential part of our world. With that, I’d like to sincerely apologize for any words that have been misinterpreted and may have offended any man, woman or child.

Thoughts on his statement?

Check the rest below, props MissInfo

The twitter situation was an immature attempt to poke fun at an infamously moronic joke. In doing so, I unconsciously stooped to the level of its originator, making it just as bad, if not worse. Pathetic. Lesson learned – nothing good can come from repeating hateful words, regardless of your intentions. Leaving no context in what was being said and being presented through text (no facial or vocal inflection) the sarcasm of the joke (or lack there of) was not properly perceived and left it purely in bad taste. I immediately apologized for my immaturity but the apologies and original post were deleted by my team in an effort to prevent more people from being offended. Unfortunately, the deletion of these statements led several people to believe that my apology was insincere, which is why I have made the decision to release this statement.

The latest quote on giving back was in response to a question about rappers and their money posed to me by the interviewer. With the question and entire vibe of the conversation not being present in the article, when my statement came out in print it appeared as if I was taking black rappers to task randomly. Not the case. Although I do feel strongly about giving back when we are in a position of power and prosperity, it is not my place to talk about what others should do with their lives. Lesson learned: talk about what you know. You can call them mistakes, I call them life lessons. It is my duty as a human being to choose my words carefully, for I am a kind soul who puts a lot of stock in the progess of humans. I am a work in progress, as we all are and I will take this opportunity to learn and grow. Its bigger than an apology, its an understanding.

Moving forward, I hope we can all take some perspective and guidance from the dialogue that has emerged from these situations. I know I already have and will continue to do so.

Onward and upward

With love,

Asher Roth

    SAD,VERY VERY SAD.

  14. Hi Hater! Says:

BREAKING NEWS: Piggy Ross IS Asher Roth!!!!!!

  15. ThaDeadlyFoe Says:

In response to the white chicks movie…I find white people who say “nigga” while blacks aren’t around, but not when they are, simply are cowards.I use the word frequently in a non racial way and find most black people don’t take that big of an issue with it.

So with that in mind,Asher lost my respect by going back and apologizing for the nappy headed hoes comment.I still believe it was blown way out of proportion when Imus said it. The problem I had was that he apologized when truly he believed he did nothing wrong.

As for the Africa comments,I don’t really have any thoughts on it,except it wasn’t really racist.

  16. granted Says:

Asher has nothing to be sorry about black people are just to damn sensitive for no reason … WE(black people) make more racial slurs than any other race

  17. johnny Says:

cosign #15 like…ex: black people are allowed to call white males white boys but if a white person calls a black male black boy all hell would break lose….something minor but tru black people say racial slurs 24/7 and get away with it even stand up comedians…another example most white people wouldnt have a problem with a black president but most black people do have a problem with a white president which is the only reason obama won in the frist place because of his color..this is real talk if u can’t face it eat shit bitches!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Shavar Says:

Asher roth is wack he meant what he said now he trynna take it back cuz some African Americans gotem spooked I remember when Em called black women bitches and niggas wasn’t nobody sweatin him like that Asher mad cuz his album aint sellin this is just a publicity stunt for him sucker

  19. lol i totally agree with asher Says:

asher always on point tho… his weight as a lyricist has catapulted. fuck every single one of yall this kid on the rise lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!! i gotta see this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!! bitchassness is heavy!!

  20. County Of Kings Says:

like i said earlier, stick to talkin bout what the fuck u know and mind ur own fuckin business.
because thats how white boys get punched in they fuckin faces
he said all that and lived and learned. i’m done with him musically but atleast as a man i can accept his statement and move on
but dont stand on ur porch and tell the family across the street how to raise they family u have no idea what they goin thru. i’ve seen many a white boy get dropped for tryin to sound educated and actually being an idiot. u mind urs, and i’ll mind mines.

  21. THE HIPHOP SLEUTH Says:

@HI HATER,THE HIPHOP SLEUTH SHALL INVESTIGATE

  22. Cutta Says:

Lol shit like this just reminds me of how one-sided things can really be in this world….lol yea black people say more racist slurs than anyone…cant really refute that one cuz that shit is a fact lol But nowadays, all or most of the words that were labeled too sensitive are really diluted now..white people say niggas…blacks say crackas…people say mida midas…and various other things…but it really doesnt have that much an affect nomore, it almost has become common language. It really boils down to the person who’s interpreting whats being said and how its being said. Asher just said that shit wrong, and topped it off by throwing Africa in the statement..foul on the play for that lol

  23. Whateva.... Nika Says:

They say ignorance is bliss…. I love hip hop and it can be attributed to bringing together the younger white/black/and other cultures. However, I feel that it often the brunt of miseducation as well (of course the media in general can be attributed to this). I always find it funny when white people say “why can you say n-word but I can’t?” Who told you that all black people use the “n-word” in their vocabulary on a regular basis? Why is it that the black America is still being regarded as having one voice????

Reminds me of before I became self employed, being the rare and the only black female IT Network administrator… It was often that I would have to “teach” people that I’m not anyone’s “home girl” and that within my peers of intelligent black females we do not talk to one another in that form or fashion.

If there is one thing I would love for other races to learn about the black race is that we are not a cult of some sort. Meaning we do not have one mind, one voice, or one method of behaving. What you hear, see, and read is not the end all or be it all of “blackness”.

@ 17 Johnny black people have voted for every other white president since it became legal for blacks to do so (scratch that… actually since the 60’s because even though it was legal for black people to vote after late 1800s it was nearly impossible for us to do so until after the civil rights act). To say that black people have a problem with voting for a white president goes against the story that history tells. Now if you want to say that black people have long yearned to see a black president in office as well, then I will buy that.
I get tired of hearing that black people voted for Obama because he is black. Never mind that his ideals are similar to the white presidents that black people have also voted for. Never mind that he is arguably the one of the best communicators that has been in office. Never mind the fact that the person who he was running against had washed out ideals that most Americans do not agree with black/white.

You can argue a lot about black people this… white people that. However, there is one thing that I do know. In America especially, the black race is the only race that you have to teach people about in its entirety. That goes for black and white people. There is so much ignorance about the black community and so many stereotypes that people buy into.

I just find it crazy that the element being used to base the black race on (in some of the comments here) are means of entertainment (rappers & comedians) that are controlled by the media with an agenda behind the message (hello monetary gain).

The comment Asher made was dumb period. This is so classic, “comment made, then apology that says I didn’t know better.” I say NO you don’t want to know better. You only needed to be alive in America during 2007 to know that those comments offended some people. Also, if he didn’t know what he was saying he wouldn’t have used the words in the context that caused controversy previously “nappy headed hoes.” So the apology is bull. I rather you say I think the shit is funny, fuck you I said it. Personally, the comment doesn’t bother me though and it didn’t bother me when Imus said it either. As a black female it bothers me that some black people are still referring to their own hair as “good or bad” and “nappy hair.” That’s what bothers me. Ignorance bothers me. However, I can see how it can bother some black people because black people know that we do not all have the same mindset as the media loves to portray. Not all black people use the term “Nappy” to refer to their hair. It’s amazing how it is often attributed that black people take words from the English language and use them inappropriately (i.e. the so called Ebonics). However, when another culture takes the English language and makes up or changes the meaning of a word, then later use it to demoralize or diminish the value of another culture they are not speaking Ebonics. Nor are they seen as having the inability to use the spoken and written English language correctly right? The word Nappy originally in Old English Na-ppy is a bowl used for serving food.

What Asher said about rappers and not giving back to the community can be said as being true. At the same time most of the well off rappers have some type of community fund or non-profit organization setup. The problem is that in general, some Hip hop is way too concentrated on material things and money. Commercialism. There are too much renting cars and jewelry just to shoot a video, too much bragging about $$$ etc… Hell even Kanye who’s first album had falls down on it denouncing this activity has sold his soul to being the Louis Vuitton don. He even has LV sneakers instead of sneakers that the average person listening to him will buy. So hey there’s too much flashy and false shit in hip hop at the moment, it’s true. However, the state of Black America and Africa SHOULD NOT be the sole responsibility of blacks. One thing that America in general does not like to take responsibility for is the state of Black America. Blacks did not cause what is going on alone. In terms of Africa, this is not a continent that exploited itself. Nor are these “black rappers” from a lineage of people that exploited it. Therefore, the problem is not so much in what he said, but rather that he thinks this is a black problem. There is a race in this world bigger than black and white and that is human. So instead of getting upset that he spoke of the topic the question that should be posed to him in his next interview is as follows: In a previous interview you acknowledged the issues plaguing Africa or “the motherland” as per your quote. Thus, when you begin receiving your royalty check and/or advances what will YOU do to help the many levels of suffrage amongst the HUMAN RACE in Africa?

  24. Will Says:

To say Black people are sensitive to racism “for no reason” [#16] …is completely ignorant to our history in America

…and to claim (or rather compare) Black’s as being excessively racist (in speech, comedy, whatever), compared to white people [#17] – that we (Black People) can say “white boy” but if a white person says “black boy” …it’s a problem]. REAL TALK is these simple racial slurs hardly EQUATE to the racism we’ve suffered from whites …A Black man calling a white man a cracker ain’t never kidnap him out of his house, made him work their fields and raise their kids, rape his women, separate his family = father from mother and mother from child, sold him, and called him a cracker, honky, or whatever, where he had no rights as A MAN and must obey or be whipped, hung, or whatever…

So you look at Black people and say to yourself, “if they can say this or that, why can’t I?” You’re whole perspective is demonic and you know damn well why?

… AND HOW MANY YEARS did we have a White president just because he was white, or didn’t have a Black president JUST BECAUSE HE WAS BLACK …which is the exact same thing if you really want REAL TALK, regardless of any of the great achievements made by white men in presidency.

…and about ASHER talking about black rappers. REAL TALK …there have been deep WORLD PROBLEMS for centuries past – not just in Africa and with all THE PROBLEMS IN AMERICA (hunger/homelessness, unemployment – men killing their families after being laid off of work, teenage pregnancies and abortions, domestic abuse, alcoholism, drug abuse, disease, etc., etc…

…this dude ASHER is talking about TEDDY RUXPIN, TAKIN’ ASHLEYS TO THE MALL, SMOKIN’ WEED, AND LOVING GOING TO COLLEGE SO HE CAN GET HIGH AND PARTY ALL NIGHT!!!!

…SOME BLACK MEN ARE RAISED NOT EVEN BELIEVING COLLEGE ISN’T EVEN AN OPTION FOR THEM, AND THUS DON’T EVEN TRY TO MAKE THE GRADE, BECAUSE THEY WAS RAISED CONDITIONED BY A DIFFERENT REALITY…

….and y’all idiots try to validate him by saying Black People are insensitive????

    Yeah right!

Him talking about black rappers (re: Africa) makes him A HYPOCRITE …which is the reason he’s left open to be verbally scorned for calling out “Black” rappers. Why is Eminem rapin about raping his mom and killing his girl with all the troubled young men (black and white) out there in broken homes, with baby mama dramas, crack infested streets, etc…???

  25. whatyouknowabouthat Says:

FUCK WHITE PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET WE OUT NUMBERED ON THE NEt…cuz we cant afford it and thats real talk…..fuck yalll opinions right now im at the local libary…….talking about real hiphop u suburban mothafuckas…….hiphop wasnt made thinking about black and white but about the average man……that man just trying to make it in a crazy world……yall got it easy………i listen to that real music……..trying to take over music……don try to act like you know music………respect the people that made all the modern music from blues rock to rnb to rap……..thru that struggle………yall made that european shit but thats cool……..jus rellax

  26. thescoop Says:

    BLACK AMERICA AND THE N-WORD:

  27. quick! Action Jackson. Says:

Most of you are ignorant fucking clowns. Why do you look at people by race or the color of their skin? Racist mother fuckers, if you really want to look at people equally a good place to start would be to stop categorizing people (such as only comparing Asher Roth to Eminem).

Anyways, Asher Roth is one of the 10 or so rappers keeping hiphop breathing…….its sad to see so many people get angry over some joke on twittter or whatever.3

  28. johnny Says:

#23 and #24 are completely clueless…all that slave shit is played out! its not fair to take it out on the new white generation who were not there when all that took place also this new black generation also was not there when it took place…how do u expect the world to become a better place if we continue the maddness…..all this hes black hes whtie shit has got to stop,,,,,im not white or black im latino i live in the hood have alot of black friends and its sick how all these latinos and blacks voted for Obama just because he was a minority,,,ask anybody in the hood who did u vote for 99 percent of em will say Obama and 93 percent out of that 99 percent if u ask them to give a reason they do not have a valid one other than hes black????? this is real talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for all u dumb asses……and why in BET they commercialized the shit out of obama tellin everyone dont forget to vote for Obama while not teaching people WHY also they had a celebration on BET because of obamas victory..WTF??? but if Mccain wouldved been the better choice and he won no celebration for the sake of our country right?? just think if there was to be a white channel called WET all hell would break lose if there were to be all white schools like there are all blacks all hell would break lose…..all im sayin is how are we supposed to move forward without racism when race is always a factor in the media!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it makes me sick to the stomach….like u know if we had a white president this website wouldnt be postin shit up of what the president is sayin if thats not racist then idk wat it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love hip hop by the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  29. johnny Says:

Obama is not even black he’s just as white as he is black i dont even know why everybody claimin him anyway????? idiots!!!!!!!!

  30. Cutta Says:

lol Johnny…if u havent realized..everyone knows Obama is mixed and his mama is white, but do u think that stopped the media from calling him the First Black President?? Nope…its not JUST minorities that label him as a black man, EVERYONE does lol…why?…cuz when media puts him on camera, take photos, hold press conferences, etc..All they see is his skin color, can u honestly see him on tv and tell ur kid that its a white man speaking?? lol…its been goin on for centuries playa. Its sad yes…but its not gonna change.
And oh…people didnt vote for Obama mainly cuz he was Black…if u go back and ask, MAJORITY of those black people where ORIGINALLY going for Hilary Clinton until she dropped the ball late in her run…

  31. johnny Says:

#30 thanks for admitting its sad but the part about hillary i disagree cus once the media would bow up the fact that Obama is black everyone wouldved hopped on the bandwagon…cus the media sticks the race factor in peoples faces so much that we run with it…nobody is actually born racist we are thought…and the truth of the matter is most blacks would feel obligated to vote for Obama or they would feel like sellouts cus after all these years of complaining they actually had a chance to make a change….not noticing its not much of a change other than the skin color LOL…but anyway i rememeber alot of hip hop artists being interviewed about the presidential elections and all of em would commercialize the shit out of obama wearing shirts such as Obama 08 and asked who they was goin 4 their answers would be thats not even a question u aint even gotta ask!!!!!!!!!!! thats ridiculous as fuck i can go on 4 on how bias that past election was…maybe he was the better choice im just saying its sad nobody sees why other than his skin color and if u disagree with my facts u are in denial or even better just ask around the hood like i did shit i asked everyone why they would say nikka im black wat u think or im latino who u thnik ima vote 4…SMH

  32. Dj KardiSmack Says:

    @whatever…nika

you sound like a woman who doesn’t get much action. yes, people are ignorant, that doesn’t mean you should write a speech on a website because of it. Your level of arrogance is apparent in your manner of type, and though I could be reading too much into your perfect grammar and excellent vocabulary, the “before I became self employed” was the straw that broke this camel’s back (pause).
Are you allowed to express your frustrations? Yes, and it is your civic duty as an American (another assumption, but I think it’s safe) to do so. Is this a forum for change? no. Will your rant do anything other than piss of a few internet thugs? no. Will complaining do anything? nope. This is just as pointless, but I felt the need to try and save face for those of us who wouldn’t like what seems to be a stereotypical angry black woman represent the lucky few who were able to find an education in a system more or less designed to prevent that very occurrence.

I don’t know you at all, but I am going so far as to say 1. you need to get laid, 2. you need to relax, and 3. don’t take every little thing so seriously. being too serious makes you hard to approach, which im assuming you’ve been told before as well. again, assumptions, but after some time you see the same things happen over and over again. relax, and instead of writing speeches that no one will read in their entirety (i must admit i was only able to skim through it), teach someone with the words they will understand.

on that note: y’all e-thugs are some dumbfucks. asher man up.

sorry for being a hypocrite about the long speeches thing.

  33. GETMONEY Says:

QUARTER MILLION DOLLAS JUST TO LIKE THIS

  34. blanco baby u know its me Says:

LOTTA DOUBLE STANDARDS GOIN ON HOLY SHIIIIIIIIT .EVERY1 NEEDS TO TAKE A STEP THE FUK BAK MN REALLY LOOK AT RACE ITS JUST THE FUKING COLOR U CAME OUT LOL THATS IT JUST CUZ UR BLACK DOESNT MEAN UR GONNA B A CERTAIN WAY DEPENDING ON YOUR ENVIROMENT AND UPBRINGING AND LIFE EXPERIENCES MAKE YOU WHO YOU ARE NOT RACE O N BLACKS CANT REALLY CRY FOUL CUZ LIKE SOMEONE SAID Y IS IT COOL FOR U 2 CALL SOME A WHITER BOY CASUALLY BUT IF A WHITE GUY REFERS TO A BLACK MALE AS A BLACK BOI ITS A WRAP.Y IS IT BLACKS SAY THEY DONT WANNA B STEREOTYPED YET MAKE THERE OWN STEREOTYPES ABOUT THEMSELVES LIKE IM SURE U HEARD BLACKS THEMSELVES SAY O U DONT EAT THIS U AINT REALLY BLACK TO OTHER BLACKS OR O U DONT FUK WIT THIS TYPE OF MUSIC DAMN U MUST B A WHITEGIRL/BOY .IM HISPANIC AND WHITE N FROM THE HOOD .I GOT LOVE FOR EVERY1 BUT THERE R DOUBLE STANDARDS OUT THERE.

  35. johnny Says:

blanco thats real talk i cosign u back people are the most steriotypical people out but also the first to point fingers and im not racist i hate racism its not like u get to choose what u wanna be when ur born LOL but yalll need to chilllll

  36. Whateva.... Nika Says:

    @ Dj KardiSmack

Point taken and I love your perspective…. Though my grammar is far from perfect and if it were why would that be bad?

Though I’d like to add, I am no where close to being angry. lol I ENJOY heated debates, lengthy conversations, sorting through issues that there is not necessarily one answer or solution to. It’s sad that it has to be viewed as “being angry.” So I’m not sure why you have to “save face.”

However, you are hypocritical so do we both need to get laid???

  37. Whateva.... Nika Says:

@ johnny you are so right… We are taught to be racist and not necessarily “racist” but stereotypical and prejudice. For example, I don’t think that Asher is “Racist.” The comment itself doesn’t bother me. I’d rather him just say I said it, fuck you.

@DJ I just realized you said I was arrogant lol. However, let me make this point to you. You admittedly said my comments were too long to read, responded, and then made a full assessment/assumption about me. Is this not a level of arrogance?

  38. dave Says:

wtf?! this kid just popped up out of nowhere, and already has a crazy history thats seemly true

  39. for real?? Says:

    @ johnny

we realize now that you are in fact Pitbull and pissed that McCain lost and your hoping that by backing Asher you can get some extra promo!!!!!!

forget the “i hate racism” and “i love hip hop” ish you’re saying because you brought up something way deeper than this post. You’re ignorance!!! the minute you brought up Obama you lost. First of all let me say that Black people have been voting for White presidents since the civil rights act because prior to that in many towns they were “failing” voter registration tests, couldn’t afford voter registration fees, or simply were turned away by the Klan. Second, Obama won because white people voted for him. If you add up every black person in the US of voting age and ability, he couldn’t put the hurting he did on McCain. McCain loss in my opinion when he chose Sarah Palin as a running mate and it was shown that the majority of American’s regardless of color are not THAT conservative.

  40. johnny Says:

#30 listen fool i stated that white people do not have a problem with a black president which was the difference in this past election……most white people actually knew why they were going for Obama,, most black people did not have a clue other than skin color. truth hurts huh? i live and work in the hood i did my research i can care less about what u say ur in denial….it seems to me u are the ignorant and the naive person in here……

  41. Whateva.... Nika Says:

Oh shit! Johnny lives and works in the “hood” and KNOWS without a shadow of doubt that MOST black people did not know why they voted for Obama. lol Realtalk, please motion to nominate him as national spokesperson for “hood” race relations.

Seriously, here we go again with one voice for black Americans. Yet and still my message was simply that people are individuals regardless of race and before there is Black or White or Hispanic or Asian there is human. However, I’m the Angry black woman right? lol he he…. classic! Johnny, it’s interesting to me how you came to that conclusion. Never mind, that your “hood” has a fraction of the percentage of black people in America within it. Never mind, that all black people do not live in the “hood” and that culture of “hoods” change geographically like anything else.

All I’m saying is there isn’t anything in this world that is all or nothing and that especially goes for mindset. If you haven’t come into realization of this then you are the fool. I respect everyone’s opinions, but I think it’s funny to take opinion or observations of your “hood” and then base the complete mindset or idealism of a race (on a topic) from it…. as if you have conducted some factual study with a test and control group. That’s so funny! However, I guess it is human nature that your perception is your reality….. Everyone is guilty of that much.

  42. for real?? Says:

    Get It #41!!!!^^^^

  43. johnny Says:

#41 and #42 notice i said most blacks not all truth hurts thats all i gotta say…why dont u ask around see what responses u make the truth is most blacks do not know shit about politics how u gonna deny that

  44. johhny Says:

    i meant responses u get

  45. E From BK Says:

Johnny, you may be well intentioned, but your comments are racist. You work in the “hood”? SO! What does that mean and HOW does that qualify you as an expert on Black relations? You remind me of one of those people who works with those “poor little African Americans” then go back home to your neighborhood and sit around with your friends talking about the “poor little African Americans” from the confines of your quaint dining room while your friends and family hang on to your every word and applaud and pat you on your back because you are so brave and knowledgeable. GTFOH! Trust me duke, you DO NOT know why the majority of African Americans. It’s probably the same reason they voted for Clinton or Linden Johnson or Jimmy Carter. I understand though, that doesn’t fit your argument.

  46. Cutta Says:

lol @ Johnny…did u just reply to my 1 comment twice? lmao aight man look, the more u talk and TRY to make ur point, the more u expose urself on here…and im clearly not the only one on here that sees it….This post is supposed to be about Asher Roth and his comments…NOT about why Obama was selected as the best choice for presidency…Truth is…The lower class African Americans ur speaking of isnt really the reason why he got elected…check the ELECTORAL VOTES…what percentage of those where done by black people???? AMERICA decided it was time to change this shit up and Whites along with every other race voted to make that happen…to sum it up, ur statements just exposes YOUR ignorance…especially the one about people not choosing what race they are when they’re born…I just wonder what u would have chose..lol i could probably guess that one..

Now please…back to the topic at hand…Asher Roth releases statements that draws him un-needed attention…

#45 i was born, raised, and still live while i also work in the hood so in other words what i mean is that i am around black people ALL THE TIME…..and i know black people just voted 4 Obama because of skin color they told me!!!!! LOL all im saying is black people get mad at whites for being racists but blacks are even more racists and i realize whites voted for Obama thats great i stated twice already that most whites do not have a problem with a black president but most blacks do have a problem with a white president….and the only reason some of yall voted 4 a white president the last few times was cus yall aint have no choice!!!! LOL and most of yall wouldnt even vote to begin with but now that a black guy ran yall wanna support politics??? cumon man lets be seriosue…..my point is Asher Roth’s comments got taken out of context when blacks are just as racist if not more than whites thats all im saying

  48. Cutta Says:

Black people didnt have a choice to vote???? lmao i knooooowwww u didnt just throw that in there….dawg, if black people didnt want to vote for a white president the last few times…THEY WOULDNT HAVE VOTED PERIOD!! U do know that there have been another black person to run for president right??? and guess what…HE DIDNT GET ELECTED…why??…because people(and i do mean americans of all races including BLACK PEOPLE) have the ability to look past skin color. If this wasnt the case, Obama wouldnt have been the first black president, Jesse Jackson would have been the first when he ran a couple years back…c’mon U BE SERIOUS.

  49. johnny Says:

black people usually always vote for the democrat period that doesnt win most of the time tho u dumbass and the number of blacks in this country has gone up thats why now its a bigger deal and yall are on the come up i def can admit that…..but that dont mean its right a whole bunch of idiots who dont know shit about pilitics go in and vote for some1 strictly 4 his skin color

  50. E From BK Says:

Johnny, you’re argument is false AND you DO NOT live in any “hood”. Stop lying please. Also, your viewpoint on Black people not having any other choices is insane; do these names ring a bell: Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson or Shirley Chisholm? If we go by your argument, then the 90% plus Black people would have voted for them too. Did that happen? No! Don’t try and marginalize an entire race based on the few you have talked to. That my friend is ignorant. By those standards, I would say that based off of that HBO special I saw about the White people who ignorantly decided to vote against Obama applies to all White people. Doesn’t that sound silly; ESPECIALLY since more Whites voted for Obama than Blacks? What your argument says is that Black people are not intelligent enough to vote on the issues and SOLELY see color. This paraphrases your ideology. Nevermind that the Republican party screwed up the country, nevermind that McCain is a warmonger, nevermind that this country’s system needs an entire overhaul, nevermind that only big business benefitted from the Republican agenda.

  51. johnny Says:

#50 yea well wat im saying its sad most blacks dont have a clue ur a fuckin idiot for thinkin they do ur very naive i see…..im speakin facts from what i know…i know a whole bunch of kids and people of all ages who voted for Obama just because his skin color ur arguing out ur ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and im sure its like that across the country i watched BET and 106 and park tellin everyone to vote cus we can make history LOL instead of being more specific and teaching the kids to vote for the better choice they’ll just teach them to vote for the black guy cus it can be the first time LOL….u live in wonderland

  52. johnny Says:

u the type to get married and think ur wife wont cheat have kids and think they wont smoke weed!!!!!!! LOL u a fuckin clown WAKE UP!!!!!

  53. Shokase Says:

Yo asher gets it in. it dont matter if u black white hispanic or watever you are. black people need to stop hating on the white rappers. look eminem took over rap. why? cuz he has different shit. he not like everyone else. and he could spit. asher aint no eminem but thats whats good. he is his own man. he got some good tracks. so stop hatin cuz he white. cuz he better than alot if black rappers. especially jim jones and souljah boy.

  54. cj Says:

hey will…….2 wrongs dont make a right

  55. slcjosh Says:

asher can spit, cant deny it. and making comments that get taken out of context and quotes that get spun in ways that make him appear to be a fuck are not fair. i am glad he came out and addressed the issues, and im lookin forward to supporting this dude and the black dude he is on tour with (kid cudi) this wednesday in my city.
