NBA D League Dunk Contest > All Star Weekend (A Real Dunk From The Freethrow Line)
James White must have wings, even if he is not in the league he needs to be in the next NBA dunk contest. Is this the first actual dunk from the free throw line? In all the NBA dunks the player has stepped over the line, if you say you seen it before post the proof in the comments.

I’ve seen him before. Its to easy for him. The only reason he ain’t in the NBA is because thats all he can do.

^^^^James Whites was actually at the line. MJ’s wasn’t. It was close, and nice, but not that far. Just keepin it real. MJ is the best, but not the end all be all.

@ #4, no one in the NBA has ever dunked behind the free throw line, not MJ, not Dr. J, no one. They were all either a foot or two in front (like Whites 4th dunk, yet he added a tomahawk windmill!) or stepped on the line. First time ive seen someone actually take off from behind the line and slam it with such ease.

that was nice gonna give him credit i guess he did do it further back than m.j and dr.j did but just note that m.j did have the most style when he did his he actually look like he was flying the most because the way he pumped it and the way his whole body was in the air with him leaning forward and his legs up like that

This kid is a problem… but he obviously can’t be a complete player so give him props but no league pass for him until he can play some d or make a bucket consistantly…

First of all he did it in HS..so he’s been doing that dunk…and MJ did it in 1985 from the actual freethrow….he even put a tape…to mark it…remember White is 6′8” or so…MJ is 6′5”…

Plus jordan dribbles and takes two steps as if he were in a game….and check out 1988 also…that one is even harder he pumps it.

not hating white is a problem…don’t get it twisted….he went to cincinnati with my boy eknny satterfield…but he doens’t have a jumpshot..just hops….lol….and MJ did the freethrow with ease…no one that height with the exception of barry has done a greethrow dunk that easy…maybe white…but the thing is Jordan dribbles and take 2 steps…..that shit is crazy to me.
